Good and flexible tour

The itinerary was very flexible and I chose to do more wildlife watching instead of the coffee and chocolate tours. There were lots of hummingbirds at Alambi that fly right up to your hands to feed and there was a coffee producer that will show you the coffee plants and how they prepare their coffee beans. We stopped for lunch at Tia Eloy and they nicely made a vegan ceviche and saw some toucans and a woodpecker nearby. We then went to the museum at Tulipe and saw another Toucan and some parrots. The displays at the museum were mostly in Spanish, so a translation app would have been helpful. It was October 2026, and it wasn't the best time to see birds, so there weren't a lot to see, but that happens with wildlife. Overall, still a good tour.

The Perfect Guide Made for an Amazing Experience

Irene was the perfect guide for Baños! She was incredibly welcoming, kind, patient, and inclusive throughout the entire experience. She made everyone feel comfortable and included, and you could tell that she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. I especially appreciated how encouraging she was with me as I practiced my Spanish. She gave me helpful tips and encouraged me to keep pursuing Spanish and not be afraid to make mistakes. Her words really stayed with me and motivated me to continue learning and practicing. Mauricio was also a great driver! He was friendly, professional, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the day. Together, Irene and Mauricio made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. I’m so grateful we had them with us and would absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting Baños. They truly went above and beyond to make our experience special!

Jorge and Jonathan were amazing on this tour. I am so grateful I was able to get in booking this so last minute (within about 12 hours of the start time of the tour). Communication was great and they picked me up when they said they would pick me up. You can tell Jorge loves his job and wanted to ensure we all had a great time....and we did. The hike up was very challenging. I feel like I am a pretty active person and this was even challenging for me. The constant encouragement from Jorge made the difference! He was also very mindful of checking in with us regularly to make sure we were feeling ok (altitude adjustment, etc). Jonathan navigating the streets in Quito plus the drive up to the parking lot of the start of the hike was impressive. He's truly a skilled driver! I would highly recommend trying this tour. We had a great time! Restaurant for lunch was great too. Great view and food for a very low price. It's an experience and views I will never forget! It was a nice way to end the day!

Day well spent exploring Cotapaxi National Park and Base Camp

We had an amazing time with our tour guide Pamela today, Pamela was professional with a good attitude and making jokes to keep everyone entertained. We got lucky with weather at the time of year, we managed to get some nice photos and make memories. The driver of the tour bus Jonathan was excellent and picked us up, took us to our tour destination and then safely dropped us back off at our hotel. Would recommend to anyone looking to discover about Cotapaxi and it's surrounding national park. Although the tour does not include food / drinks, we was able to take breaks to acquire snacks before the trip and before return back to our hotel we was taken to a nice place to have some home cooked food.

Long but worth it day

This excursion was a good chance to see Quilatoa and get an opportunity to experience indigenous art and culture. Our guide Irene and driver Marcello picked us up from our hotel promptly. It's a long drive, but we stopped on the way for breakfast. Next, we visited an indigenous farm and learned about their lifestyle. We also got to meet and take pictures with their alpacas. Next, we made a brief stop at a canyon for photos. Then, we arrived at the crater. We were there early enough to see it in its full neon shade. We had several hours to hike, explore, and shop before lunch and heading back. Our last stop was at the shop of an indigenous artist in Tigua who is known for creating masks. Finally, our day wrapped up with a long drive back to Quito. We had a fun time. You'll need cash for all expenses (lunch, souvenirs, etc) after the first mini Mart, but there's an ATM there.

My husband and I flew...

My husband and I flew into Quito for a one day layover on our way home after a Galapagos tour and decided to make the most out of the day with a day tour. I booked it a mere 13 hours prior and we were paired with Galindo as our guide. He was a very experienced tour guide, knowledgeable, and also took great pictures of us along the way. Galindo’s English was excellent, but it was still nice to be able to practice my very rusty Spanish with him without feeling embarrassed since I never really had a chance to speak much in Galapagos. Galindo catered our tour to our preferences and took us to a really cute restaurant for lunch that had good food and our table had a nice view of Independence Square. We really felt like we got a good taste of Quito by the end of the day. We were tired but it was worth it!

Great views!

Very good tour and well worth the price. We started with the 1:00 pm bus, and probably would have preferred an earlier start. We only got off at the Mercado, the Basilica, and Panecillo. We spent much more time at the Basilica than we had expected. It was awesome! Make sure you go around to the front and take the tour up the towers. Spectacular views! On the ride up to Panecillo sit on the left side of the bus and you'll get great views.
