Great day in Hanoi
Pete our guide was great. Our driver was also fantastic. No way I could have drove to all the spots we went to in that traffic. Pete was very knowledgeable and flexible. Due to construction causing some traffics delays in the area, he adjusted our schedule quickly so we still made it everything we wanted to see and still had enough time at every stop. We really wanted to experience train at and he had us at a very good cafe with time to enjoy a coffee before the train passed.

Must do tour!
We did this trip as family of four and Leo was our tour guide. He was amazing in explaining the history and making us laugh. This is definitely a trip for those that are more fit with the walking and biking. My family got tired of the biking and fell behind the group and Leo came back and got them and even offered to turn around. He came up with alternative options for our group and was very kind. The boat ride was beautiful and the lunch was ok. We enjoyed the bike ride. This is a must do activity. The bus was beautiful and had AC and was very roomy! Book this now!!

Great service
Great experience.
We were met from the gate and escorted through the VIP lane at immigration.
The main queue looked huge and I’ve no doubt this saved us a lot of time.
They waited with us and helped with luggage before taking us through to our transfer driver.
Would definitely use them again.

Don’t miss this local food tour
We had a great tour- a fair amount of walking and lots of stairs. Mai was great- gave us lots of information about living in Hanoi and the 6 places we had food were wonderful. My favorite was the cooking school and the mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream.

Ninh Binh tour is beautiful and active.
We got picked up in a nice luxury bus. We then went to Ninh Binh where we first rode bikes for 2 km. Stopped at a temple in the ancient capital and then had a buffet lunch. After we went to ride a 1 hour boat ride on the river through the caves and mountains. We finished things up by going on a hike up one of the mountains. Lots of movement and lots of opportunities for neat experiences! Our tour guide Hai Dang was very helpful and informative!

Fantastic tour especially for people that like to be active
Our guide Sunny and driver Tian gave us a fantastic day trip to Ninh Binh. I am so glad I went with this company because I noticed there were a lot of other large bus tours but ours was timed so perfectly specifically to avoid crowds and impending rain.
I was so worried about the weather I almost cancelled but I'm so glad I did not. The overcast sky made the boat ride much more enjoyable. Our guide and driver made sure we had multiple bathroom stops and places for drinks and snacks.
The tour does, as mentioned, have biking and hiking components but if you're not physically able to, both locations have places to sit, relax and have a food or drink. As for the lunch, it was buffet style and about half the table was vegetarian options. They also had fish, goat, chicken, tofu and I believe beef options as well, so something for everyone.
For a tip, everyone goes to the left side on the hike to get to a higher viewpoint with a dragon. If you have time, do both, but if you're not able to or want to have better pictures, take the right hand turn to go up the mountain side with the pagoda. Less people go up that side and there's not a major difference in viewpoints but you can have more space to enjoy the top with less people.
Also, bring an umbrella if you're doing the boat ride on a sunny day. The hat helps, but that sun is a killer. And have small bills on hand for small purchases like water, ice cream, tips and such.

Hiu was a fantastic guide...
Hiu was a fantastic guide for our Ninh Binh day tour. Punctual, friendly, and full of knowledge about the area — he made the history come alive and knew all the right timings to beat the crowds. Great English, great photos, and he took us to a wonderful local spot for lunch. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommend!

Memorable day on Ha Long Bay
A great day-trip from Hanoi (total excision was ~9 hours). Boating through Ha Long Bay was beautiful & opportunities to explore caves on foot and by small craft was also fun. An ample lunch served on the boat paired with an excellent and professional guide (Johnny) throughout the day made this private tour a good value. As a bonus we stopped at a pearl factory on the way out which was also quite fun!

Would recommend!
Our trip was great! Our guide Johnny was very knowledgable and attentive for the 7 hour excursion. Easy to find him at the cruise ship port, and quick loading on to the boat. We had 18 passengers, and could have had room for at least 30, so lots of space, which was nice. Clean, available bathrooms. Soda, beer, water available for sale ($1-2 USD), and you do get 1 free with lunch. The itinerary was different than what was on Viator, but it all ended up being great. Went to an oyster & pearl farm, Sung Set Cave, then had lunch (so much food! A set menu, and it just kept coming. After lunch, we visited Luon Cave - we had options to take a bamboo boat (included), kayak (included) or speedboat (~$17 USD), and we had enough time to do 2 of the 3! Finally, we also stopped at Titov Isle - has a viewpoint with about 450 steps, which I didn't do, but we had enough time here to allow that. We stayed at the beach/shops area, which was pretty small. Swimming was allowed, but again, it was very small, so we didn't go in. Johnny was a great guide and the boat crew were wonderful! Great way to see the cool bay area.

Great private tour of Hanoi highlights
Terrific private tour with Jun as our great guide. We were picked up at the ship, no long walk. It was helpful that Jun joined us in Halong and gave us lots of local information on the drive. Do plan two hours to Hanoi and plan lots of walking since old Hanoi is a maze of small streets. Our driver was superb, navigating crazy Hanoi traffic. The tour is customized to what you want, but it is impossible to see everything so some advanced planning is useful. Jun recommended a local restaurant for lunch, not the usual hotel buffet.

"A Flawless Experience with team Tom!
Huge thanks to Team Tom for an unforgettable day! Our guide, Tom, was exceptional from start to finish—professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. Everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to just relax and enjoy the sights. If you’re looking for a seamless and high-quality tour, I can’t recommend this one highly enough!

Great way to see ha long bay.
Well organized tour lasting about 24 hours. The staff worked really hard to make everything go seamlessly. They give you an itinerary right at the very start and stick to it throughout the time. The staff were very pleasant and service oriented. The facilities were good just as they look in the photos. The food was great, the scenery speaks for itself, and the boating/kayaking/swimming/cooking class, etc.. were all good things to keep you occupied. There were small just sufficient breaks so it didn't feel rushed.
I also enjoyed meeting other travelers in a setting that was small enough <50 passengers, that you got to talk to people if you wanted to do so.
