Overview of Montreal by car

If you want to get a feel for Montreal other than just the old town this is the tour for you. You get to see areas well away for the normal tourist hot spot. The guide, Gustavo, was extremely knowledgeable and prepared to modify the tour to fit your needs/wants. He was an extremely pleasant gentleman.

Wonderful Experience, but Difficult to Locate the Meeting Place

This was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it. This is an open boat, and it was big enough to accommodate our group of 9 people. The weather wasn't freezing, though we were all glad to have jackets, and we learned a lot about downtown Montreal & the islands built from the fill salvaged from the construction of the Metro. You can see remains of the Montreal Expo and Olympics in the 20th Century, as well as current attractions built on the sites. The only complaint I have is that it was not clear or easy to find where we were supposed to meet for the trip. GPS took 3 Uber drivers to the same wrong location, and it took a bit of reading / thinking / talking to get us to the right place. Even then, we were not entirely sure, because the company name on the location was correct, but the references on the signs were all about jet skis, not a Harbor Cruise. You guys (owners) might want to work on this, so that you don't lose people because they could not find it. Because we arrived very early, we handled it, but this is not a good thing. The experience is wonderful, and our boat driver provided lots of informative commentary during the ride - don't let poor directions detract from that experience. Highly recommend, once you find it.

5/5 Stars – Unbeatable sunset views of Montreal!

This was a last-minute decision for us, and I’m so glad we did it! Taking the electric boat out at sunset was hands-down one of the best parts of our trip. Seeing the city lights start to come on while enjoying the calm water was magical. The boat was smooth, quiet, and comfortable. If you’re on the fence, definitely book it—it does not disappoint!

Old Montreal walking tour

Before beginning this tour, we didn't know a lot about Montreal but this tour provided the insight. This was a good tour to learn about how Montreal has been shaped by its past. The walkability of the tour was easy. When we were learning about a specific building or event, Louis (our tour guide) always made sure we stopped in the shade for the explanation during our hot day. Louis gave us some good recommendations for where to eat and visit during our remaining time in the city. We would recommend Louis and this tour.

Awesome adventure in Quebec

Really enjoyed this full day in Quebec leaving from Montreal. Boarded bus early. Quick stop at gas station w McDonald’s and local fast food place serving breakfast. It broke up the 2.5 hour bus ride. First stop was amazing waterfall in park. We had time to view the waterfall and take a brief scenic hike near it. Could have spent more time here but we needed to move on to Quebec City. Once in the city we had a 1 hour walking tour. Then we had about 2.5 hours to explore the city. Lots of stairs and hills here but some flat ground. I walked all around before finding a nice cafe to sit outside and try some local brews. Afterwards I boarded a boat for a nice river cruise. The views were amazing of the city! The boat served food and drinks. After the cruise we boarded bus and headed back to Montreal. If you have just 1 day for Quebec City this is the perfect tour. But it is all day arriving into Montreal after 8:30pm. So plan accordingly with plenty of water and snacks.

A Wonderful way to Learn about Montreal in a Short Time

This was a wonderful way to learn about Montreal in a short time. The driver, Christian, was attentive to our interests and requests. We saw many beautiful places such as the Beaver Lake (Lac aux Castors) located on Mount Royal, a view of a topiary from the Botanical Gardens, the architect of the casino, and even the Formula One race track Christian told stories that helped bring the rich history to life for us. We visited the inside of the lovely Notre Dame de Bon Secours Chapel. Because of this tantalizing tour of the city, we hope to return when we can spend more time to explore. Very good value. I recommend this as a customized way to learn about the city.
