Transnistria is already one of Europe's most unusual destinations – but even many visitors who come here never discover one of its best-kept secrets: a scattered collection of Soviet mosaics that has survived largely intact since the Cold War era.
This is the only tour that brings them together in a single experience. Across four locations – Bender, Ghisca, Tiraspol, and Sucleia – you'll see 15 mosaic panels and 2 bas-reliefs created by Soviet artists whose work was never intended as tourist attractions. These artworks were designed to inspire, educate, and communicate the values of their time. Today, they remain in place – slowly fading, yet still largely overlooked.
All sites are located in open public spaces. No museums, no queues, and no entrance tickets. Just monumental art in the streets, explored with a guide.
