The four hour tour left me wanting more!

This is an easy ride through the city. It was gently guided and thoughtfully narrated. The charcuterie we stopped at was delightful. Good wine, great cheeses and delicious cured meats. The owner of the charcuterie shop was brimming with personality and good cheer.

Joseph was a great guide....

Joseph was a great guide. My husband was supposed to join me for the tour, however he couldn't make it. I had informed the company of my wish list for the places to see and Joseph made sure that I see everything and more. He was a great photographer too. He took amazing pictures of me and helped me take some excellent shots of the city. He walked me back to the hotel and recommended restaurants and sone local dishes to try. I can tell you that his recommendations were spot on

From the very start, her warmth, charm, and vibrant energy made us feel right at home.Nathalie's deep knowledge of Lyon's culinary history and local culture is truly impressive. She didn't just hand us food; she shared the fascinating stories behind every single local dish, neighborhood tradition, and legendary Michelin chef. We loved exploring the city's famous hidden historic passages (traboules) and stopping at scenic spots while the sun was setting.Every single food and wine stop was carefully selected and delicious, from the iconic pink pralines to the authentic local charcuterie. Nathalie went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group was happy, engaged, and well-fed. She even gave us an amazing list of local restaurant recommendations for the rest of our stay. Knowledgeable Guide - Wish there was more food

It was a great tour, and I gave it 5 stars, but I did want to explain a little further for people so they have a full sense of what they are getting into. I don't think it deserves 4 stars... but I do wish it had been a little different. Our guide was great, super knowledgeable, LOTS of history about not just food but also the area. So think of it more as a walking tour + some food. There was a lot of food, but I had a friend do the Secret Food Tour the day before and they got more food and more local food. The ice cream and sorbet we got, while good and a local product, I wish we had tried the traditional Lyon candies that I had heard about from my friend who did the other tour. I left feeling like I learned a lot more than I ate... I've done Secret Food tours in other cities and I do regret not booking that one instead.

Fun Food Tour

Great food tour. Our guide, Natalie was friendly and knowledgable. We began the tour with different cheeses which were described well and delicious. There was plenty of water and wine offered throughout. Comfortable seating at each stop. We ended the tour with ice cream and had to guess the flavors which was fun! We also got a great overview of the history and culture of the area.

Justine is amazing

Justine is an absolutely fantastic tour guide. She is warm, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with wine. Her French and English are both excellent, and apparently she speaks some Spanish as well! Highly recommended for anyone who wants a fun, relaxed, and unpretentious wine tasting experience in Lyon
