Where the river meets the sea, traders once found shelter from storms. Hoi An grew into a busy port filled with languages, goods, and spices. Step back 400 years into the golden age of Hoi An, when this small riverside town was one of Asia’s busiest trading ports. Merchants from Japan, China, and Vietnam lived side by side, exchanging goods, cultures, and ideas that helped transform Hoi An into a prosperous international marketplace. Join us to explore Hoi An Old Town and truly understand what you’re seeing. Why is Hoi An so unique compared to other cities in Vietnam? Why are there so many Chinese heritage sites, yet so few Chinese people living in Hoi An today? Why is there a statue of a foreigner in the heart of Hoi An? And that’s not all. We’ll take you to a scenic spot overlooking the Old Town—an experience that other tours don’t offer.
