Great private tour with Tak!
Our tour guide Tak was awesome! We did a private tour with him and he took great care of us! He even made sure Mt. Fuji didn’t have any cloud cover for us! 😉 he was very knowledgeable and showed us around the Hakone area. It was nice to not worry about where to go or how to get there.

We had an excellent...
We had an excellent experience with our guide, John! He was very punctual, kind, and flexible with our plans. He was a great driver and made us really enjoy our day in Hakone. We also went to a great spot for lunch and he took lots of good photos for my partner and I. Booking this tour allowed us to relax and enjoy the sights without needing to worry about any travel logistics, which can be difficult in Hakone without a local. Highly recommend!

Hakone Overview
It was a great overview of different sites in Hakone. Our guide Yumiko-san took us to a local restaurant for lunch that had really good authentic feel. The other sites also were not too touristy and was very relaxing. I love that we got to experience a tea ceremony in Gora Park one last time before leaving Japan. It was a long day but really maximized the sightseeing.

A Must!
We had a beautiful day with our guide, Hiro, who was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Japan. It was interesting to learn about the Japanese customs and the significance of th temples and shrines. Hiro also had the experience to know all of the ins and outs of navigating the areas to avoid the crowds. It was an unforgettable and beautiful tour.

The scenic mountain town of Hakone is known for its hot springs resorts and excellent views of Mt. Fuji’s snow-capped peak, and some Hakone tours include a traditional onsen experience. You can also take guided forest bathing walks, visit the town’s open-air art museum, attend a tea ceremony to learn more about the culture of tea, explore Hakone’s botanical garden, or go on a boat ride on Lake Ashi to see the bright red torii gate that marks the entrance to a Shinto shrine.
