Top Florida Snorkeling

The dive facility, boat and equipment all top notch. Do not expect to have any prescription level googles available. The soda, water and snacks, was a plus. The crew was professional and focused on safety. I gave this rating a 5 instead of a 4 because my comments are personal to me. I was a disappointed that there was no education at all except the captain passed around a card with fish on it as we were heading back in. No one talked about the State Park (outside of the name of the reef we were at), the reefs or any historical reference to the Christ statue and how, when or why it was placed there. The reef was in a state of decay and very sad to see how dark and bleached it turned. Did see a lot of fish but the condition of the reef made it sad for me to see. Extreme water temps but heavy traffic doesn't help, so personally I came feeling a bit guilty. I live in Florida and snorkel the gulf and other areas around the world. I had always wanted to see this coral reef, but I wasn't prepared for the conditions it was in. Shame on me for not doing the research up front. The boat adventure is great for those who want a half day snorkeling around but don't expect any educational information or pink/yellow reefs.

Great experience starting at the check-in desk. Our boat ride to Shell Island was amazing, saw some Dolphins, my daughter really enjoyed paddle boarding, got a few crabs from snorkeling. The crew and captain were very welcoming. We had so much fun on the boat! Sarah was very kind to help my daughter get on the paddle boat. We plan to do this again next year.

When I was looking for dolphin tours, as you can imagine, I found tons of different cruises with all different types of reviews. But I went with this one because it had the best reviews and recent, and the reviews were right. What a fun experience and amazing staff. We were able to go out into the gulf and right away we spotted a pod of dolphins. Then we saw more and more. Some of them even got up close to the boat and they had some babies with them. My kids were in love. Really great cruise with great staff. Highly recommend.
