What are people saying about El Salvador

Amazing and worth it!
Amazing trip!!!! Josué was our guide and did a great hob holding the group together, even when one of the other participants was feeling sick and had to stop several times. The tour started perfectly on time as arranged on the phone the night before. The hike to the crater is easy and really doable for any average fit person in this tour, with strategic stops for pictures that allow the more tired people to breathe some extra air. It's absolutely worth it. After the walk the group is taken to a restaurant in front of Lake Coatepeque, where you can also try some jetski or just relax.

Dave was an incredible...
Dave was an incredible guide, his tour was fun and lively, he did a great job of connecting with us. We learned so much about El Salvador, drank some amazing horchata, ate pupusas, toured the capital and saw the hospital, library, cathedral, and much more. This is the tour you need to take when you visit El Salvador.

Wonderful day trip from San Salvador
We were looking to spend a day outside of San Salvador after a week of working in the city and the towns along the Ruta de las Flores looked so appealing. This was the perfect day trip/getaway. The first town was 1.5 hours away and our trip back from the last town took 2 hours, but we knew that in advance and getting away was so worth it. Our driver, Iván, was excellent and we were in an extremely comfortable car. Jocelyn was our tour guide and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable, and a lot of fun to spend the day with. I was surprised to learn she is a recent addition to the company, because I never would have guessed. She was a total pro and had great insights to share in answer to our questions. One of my favorite experiences was wandering through a farmer’s market and sampling whatever food and produce struck our fancy. I didn’t feel rushed and had a lot of fun. Each town we visited had its own personality and we took our time wandering around town squares, churches, gardens, and little side streets. I had originally wondered if the coffee plantation might be gimmicky, as I was born and raised in Latin American coffee country, but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the day. The restaurant, Entre Nubes, grows and processes its own coffee. We were able to walk around for a bit among the coffee plants and learn about Salvadoran coffee varieties, which I knew nothing about. We then went to the coffee bar and sampled a few types of coffee, which were truly delicious. The restaurant is large, open, and airy, and we enjoyed some quesadilla (traditional cheesy cornbread) and plantain empanadas with our coffee, with a lovely background of live music. One thing I appreciated was that although we walked through a market that sold souvenirs, it was a side trip and I did not feel like we were being sold anything or that shopping was the main point of the trip, because it definitely was not. This was a wonderful experience and I will always be glad I got to see these places on my first trip to El Salvador. Thank you, Jocelyn and Iván! Hope to see you next time.

You’ll never be bored in El Salvador, the land of volcanoes with rich indigenous heritage and world-class coffee culture. Sightseeing tours focus on the capital, San Salvador, where you can snack on pupusas between visits to key landmarks and the panoramic rainbow slide. National parks abound here, which means plenty of tours that take you hiking around volcanoes and crater lakes, swimming and cliff jumping by waterfalls, and picnicking at sweeping viewpoints. The variety doesn’t stop there: Other El Salvador tours spotlight impressive Mayan ruins and the colorful cobblestoned towns along the Ruta de Las Flores.
