Dublin - An authentic experience!
Liam was amazing and pushed our experience over the top. Glendalough and the Wicklow mountains took our breath away and we loved Dublin! Liam took us to a pub where we had the most delicious Irish stew and he taught us many Irish -isms; such as … follow me, I’m right behind you. Lol. What a great tour! I can’t recommend it enough.

Watch your step
The walking tour/ Hike offered some great photo opportunities. The natural beauty was really nice. I’d suggest the park enforce pet waste as the trail had many dog bits along the way left for hikers. The Glendalough tour was nice and a great chance to learn about early Christianity in Ireland.

Magical
Noel is very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. The Wicklow mountains were so beautiful. Went for a walk along the Irish Sea. Glendalough was unbelievable - so magical. Noel was a great guide. “Guinness” Lake stunning.

Highly recommend!
Our guide, Carol, was fantastic! She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when we had questions. I recommend the self guided tour of Kilkenny Castle if you want time to do anything else. The sheepdog demonstration was the highlight! I’d recommend more time in Kilkenny and less in Glendalough, if possible.

Beautiful day afield
This is a beautiful day trip from Dublin. An opportunity to see the beautiful Wicklow mountains, St. Kevin’s in Glendalough and historic Powerscourt and gardens. All very worthwhile. Be prepared for a bit of a nature walk.

Great half day trip to Wickalow Mountains and Glendalough
Kyle was informative. Started on time. Very good hike on flat trail to see 2 lakes. Also Glendalough Woollen Mills to shop at. Visitor center talks about the monastery. There is a fee to go into the visit center . But you can just walk on the trail.

Extremely scenic and...
Extremely scenic and beautiful. Bring a camera and some good walking shoes. You will also learn a lot about the Wicklow and Glendalough areas, which was really nice.

Well Worth the Price!
This was a wonderful tour! Oli is an engaging, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable guide who not only educated us the whole way but also entertained us through the less exciting parts of the drive. The sites were beautiful, moving, and just plain fun. The bus was clean, comfortable, had free wifi, and a bathroom. Time and money well spent!

The best day with the best guide and driver, Philip and Liam
We had such a great time on this tour our guide Philip was fantastic. He gave a lot of information of history as we drove along to all the different sites very knowledgeable and friendly and funny. Our driver. Liam was awesome as well. He was a very safe driver never a concern of safety. This duo was awesome. Wish we could take another tour with the same guide and driver..

A day outside of Dublin
Can’t find a nicer-more welcoming host in Pat and driver, Alec. Pat is a riot and so kind! The bus is very clean—no eating or drinking on the bus.

When to visit

Glendalough is a popular attraction for history buffs, families seeking open spaces, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The ground may be soft or muddy, so pack your hiking boots and bring along layers of waterproof clothing.
To see the full complex, be prepared for a significant amount of walking, as the site is spread across several locations surrounding the two lakes.
Visit the Glendalough Visitor Centre, where a video and exhibition shed light on the history of the monuments.
