We had an amazing time touring the Cape with Clement! There was so much to see and do. Clement gave us the perfect amount of time to check out each location, while also keeping us on schedule. This package was a great sampler of the Cape, showing us awesome views, teaching us the local history, and letting us experience the Cape of Hope, Boulder Beach, and many of the seaside towns.

We had an excellent trip...

We had an excellent trip with Born in Africa. The communication leading up to the day was great, with lots of detail so that we could prep properly for the trip. Jamie was great, telling us all about the region and history on the way to/from Aguila. We did the wine tasting, and enjoyed the wide variety of options included in the wine flight. The Aguila reserve was incredible. We went from animal siting to siting, with very few gaps. Not only was our guide great at getting us close, he was very knowledge about the animals, their individual histories, and explained the care provided by the reserve. This was definitely a day to remember!

Perfect day out

We had Candy and Lithu for our tour guide and they did absolutely everything, including turning on the weather for a stunning day! Candy was such a bright personality and happy to talk all things South Africa - she knew so much about the areas we went - and was always happy to capture the moments for us. Lithu got us around safely and on time, and we always felt comfortable being in his driving care.

Amazing!

Absolutely amazing tour! At first we were concerned it may be too fast-paced and rushed but it definitely wasn't! We had enough time at all the stops and it we had such a great time. The explanations by our host was also really helpful and the energy and excitement was much enjoyed. We would have liked to have a small breakfast stop as we were picked up very early so couldn't get something to eat and didn't end up eating till around 2pm, but that's the only thing I would have picked up on. Aside from that we loved it and this tour was easily one of our favourite things on our holiday.

Fantastic Tour for Wine Lovers

This was a wonderful tour of 4 established vineyards with wine tasting to include cheese and chocolate as well as a delicious lunch, which as a vegetarian I had plenty of choice. Our guide Donovan was incredibly welcoming, fun and knowledgeable about wines and their history and never made the day feel rushed at all. There were 2 other people on the tour from Australia and we all got on so well it really made the day one of our best whilst on holiday.

Gordon was a wonderful, experienced travel guide. Any information we needed to know he imparted to the entire group. Unfortunately…it is fall here so it rained pretty much the entire day. Although there was no way we could partake in Table Mountain…the other sights were Wonderful…especially the penguins! There were many sights to see and I, at least, enjoyed the entire trip!

Easy Tour of Cape Town

Brilliant - so easy to get on and off. Changeover on blue line to go to Winery at Constantia was very efficient. Commentary was great with some humour which made us smile. Harbour tour was great, if a little underwhelming but again, the commentary was informative and funny, in places. A great way to get a feel for Cape Town.

Beautiful day out

Great day out. Family friendly. Everything was run on time. A good amount of time was allowed between pick ups from the wineries by the bus and tram. The wineries were beautiful and so was the scenery. Perfect weather helped. Wine was lovely. If you want to eat lunch at the winery the make sure you reserve a table. They get very busy. The coach back to Cape Town was very comfortable and had wifi.

First to get picked up and had 2 seats to myself so great start. Every thing we did was great. Our guide Vaughn was wonderful as well. The penguins were the highlight. A great taste of South Africa

It's a lot of travel in a mini bus but is worth the travel as you get a taste of a safari and the opportunity to see some of South Africa. The lodge is very comfortable, the food is great and they have great guides. It would be nice to have more time to enjoy the lodge but the trip is very well organised.

Excellent Experience!

This experience was A+ from the beginning to the end.Our guide and driver,Gherard,was amazing, very entertaining, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and looked like he loves his job. He made the long drives feel shorter. He picked us up in our hotel in Stellenbosch and dropped us at our next hotel in Cape Town.We made a few stops for coffee and food and to stretch our kegs.The drives in both reserves Botlierskop and Buffelsdrift were fantastic. We got to see the Big Five, and for an extra charge, we got to walk with the elephants, money well spent.They were 2 totally different experiences but both equally amazing.We overnighted at the charming Oakdene Guest House, where Daniel the host greeted us and treated us to a fantastic breakfast in the morning. They made reservations for us that night to have a delicious dinner at Ebony and Ivory. There were 8 of us at the van, and we got along so well, even though we all were from different countries. We ended up swapping phone numbers in the end. Overall it was the perfect experience. The drive was long but so worth it once we got there. Being amongst all the wildlife in their own habitat and not feeling like it was a zoo was priceless. Definitely recommend this tour.

A must visit.

We had the most glorious day with Joe, driving us, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The weather was excellent, and we were very lucky to see the huge array of animals. Lions and elephants were particularly breathtaking and so close! The views from both the Lodge site and the park were wonderful and we could not have been treated better by everyone we met. The lunch was most enjoyable and plenty for every different palate. We were not rushed at all and the actual park tour was very informative.
