There are no words to describe how amazing this luxury Felucca experience on the Nile was. Ahmad did an incredible job organizing everything, from the dinner to the photographs. I had an absolutely incredible experience with Misk Tours and can’t recommend them enough for anyone visiting Cairo. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. We were picked up on time, the car was clean and comfortable, and the driver made us feel completely safe throughout the day. Our guide, Mohamed, was truly exceptional. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable about Egypt’s history and culture, but also super friendly, relaxed, and easy to be around. He gave us the flexibility to explore at our own pace, never rushed us, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than scripted. If you can, definitely request Mohamed he made the day unforgettable. We managed to fit so much into one day: exploring the Great Pyramids of Giza (including going inside!), visiting the Great Sphinx of Giza, riding camels, enjoying a great lunch, doing some shopping, and even quad biking. Despite how much we did, the day never felt rushed. What really stood out was how comfortable and pressure-free everything was. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything or visit specific shops everything was completely optional. Every person we interacted with through the tour was friendly and respectful, and we didn’t experience any scams or uncomfortable situations at all. They even accommodated our request to start early so we could beat the crowds at the pyramids, which made a huge difference. Overall, this was a full, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable experience. O.U.T.S.T.A.N.D.I.N.G!!! My husband and I booked this activity on our first day in Egypt and it hands down exceeded any expectation my imagination could conjure. Mohamad Hisham was our guide and our driver was Hassa; they picked us up from our hotel right on schedule. After all 6 travelers were picked up we traveled through Fayoum. Along the way Mohamad shared cultural insights about the area and the people who lived there. Once we arrived in Wady El Rayan, we hit the Sand dunes by 4x4 and that was an adventure! Our Sand Bashing driver Muhammad (a different person) made sure we felt how wild and free the desert can be; at times it felt like riding wild waves of sand. Next we went Sand boarding, rode camels by a body of water that led to a WATERFALL. If you didn't ride camels you could ride a horse or go on a boat ride. We then took panoramic views on top of mountains by an oasis and concluded our time in the desert by having BBQ in a Bedouin nomadic campsite. They offered to take our photos while we lived in the moment and even guided us on some creative poses. I thought that was the end of the tour but we then traveled back to Kairo and learned how papyrus paper was made as well as Egyptian incense and perfumes (Bonus activities!) Mohamad, Hassa and the rest of the team were so hospitable and incredible. What added to the experience was that they each seemed to really enjoy the work they did and had strong rapport with each other which made the day really fun. I could not recommend this tour enough and am so glad we got to experience it!
