What are people saying about Memphis

Outstanding History, Safe Driving, and Great Pace for Kids
We had a great tour of Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis with our guide Fady and our driver. Although it was a lot to see and the weather was warm, Fady made the experience comfortable for my 6-year-old daughter by accommodating extra stops for drinks and snacks. He provided insightful historical context throughout the day, and the driving was safe and professional. All the sites we visited are absolute must-visits for anyone traveling in the Cairo area.

Fantastic, hassle-free tour with Ayman!
Ayman and our driver took complete care of us from hotel pick-up to drop-off. He smoothly sorted all our tickets, transport, camel ride arrangements, and led us to the best photo spots around the Pyramids and Sphinx. Lunch was delicious, and the visit to GEM was a highlight—Ayman told amazing stories and kept my 9-year-old fully engaged with fun questions throughout the day. Highly recommend booking with him!

Excellent
Superb to have the chance to visit these sites. We especially enjoyed Dahshur. Excellent arrangements. Guide clear and knowledgeable. Kind, safe driver with comfortable vehicle for the group. They adapted to our needs, including for example that we did not want nor have time for visiting specialist shops and our focus with the time was the sights.

Smooth experience to wonder at the World
Really friendly and relaxed, flexible guide. We took such a loooong time at the Pyramids and he was chilled all the way to let us just már el and take photos.

Nansour and Saccara. The filling to ve next the oldest pyramids
A great experience to the oldest puramid the red pyramid an the tumbs of Sakkara. Our driver Axmed Farouk was excellent. Helpful and explained everything about the itinerary and what to see. If someone wants to see the pyramid of Ounas has to there before mid-day. We didn't make it. On my opinion if you have seen Luxor Saccara has nothing to offer.

SUPER experience, Ahmed was a great driver, fully prepared. He also gave us some hints & tips about visiting and avoiding crowded hours and explained us a bit of what we were seeing around.

Pyramid tour
Passant (guide) and Capoo (driver) were outstanding. Passant has a very deep historical knowledge of the pyramids and ancient Egypt. She did a great job of communicating with each of us. Capoo did a wonderful job navigating the streets of Cairo and keeping us safe.

A must do activity!
Sarah was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. The tour was consistent with the description. It is a long day but worth it.

When to visit

Memphis is a must-see for fans of ancient Egypt.
The attractions at the Mit Rahina open-air museum are sculptures, not architectural remains of the former city.
Some pieces from Mit Rahina will move to Giza's Grand Egyptian Museum, slated to open in 2020.
Mit Rahina is flat but sandy, possibly challenging for travelers who use wheelchairs or strollers.
