Challenging adventures
Due to a mudslide we hiked up and down. It was a challenging, fascinating hike. I was glad I had snacks with me and water. I appreciated the water at the van when we got back. I recommend wearing your swim suit under your hiking clothes if you want to cool off in the falls, take big repellant and good shoes to hike in Learning about the vegetation, creatures and area was fascinating

Christ the Redemmer and Sugar Loaf Mountain
This was an amazing tour. To do Christ the Redemmer and the Sugar Loaf Mountain in 7 hours was the best use of our time. The views from both are iconic and was a pleasure to do. Both sites are busy and by doing a tour you have priority access. Would highly recommend doing this tour.

The activity I liked most to do in Rio
It was simply the activity I liked the most to do in Rio. Martin in the reception and then Rosa who guided us were inexceedable. The fact that the guides are local makes all the difference and helped demystify an idea we have wrong about what it is and how life is lived in Rocinha.

A Flawless, Easy Day in Rio
Our tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Leticia, was wonderful with incredibly multi-linguistic skills. Our drive, Paolo, artfully wove his way through the city and windy narrow roads. The tour was as advertised, and I felt I got a good value for the cost. The stops were organized and well scheduled. I felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. There is a fair bit of walking at some stops, and the built environment may be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour, particularly to solo travelers and women.
