We start in Bergen after breakfast, and cruise out the fjords, passing islands and fjords. Pulse is low, and we enjoy the surroundings and silence on the way. Stop for lunch at Skjerjehamn, or we bring a good lunch onboard. You stay in the boat over the night, or at Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand. If you sleep on the yacht, it will be entirely yours, you have the evening and night by yourself. Dinner at Kviknes Hotel. An intimate perspective of the fjord’s beauty

We would highly recommend this tour. Bjorn’s intimacy with the fjords lead to personalized storytelling about the places we observed and the people who live along the water’s edge. The small RIB offered a unique vantage point from which to absorb the fjord’s natural beauty. The brief train ride back to Bergen was easy and picturesque. We loved every minute. Perhaps the only disappointment was that the day was shorter than had been communicated. One of the highlights of our Norway adventure!

If you’re flying in from out of the country, you’ll want to land in Bergen, not Oslo.
The most famous branches of the Sognefjord are the Nærøyfjord, Fjærlandsfjord, and the Aurlandsfjord—try to see them all.
Technically, the Sognefjord can be experienced in a day from Bergen, but you’ll likely want to set aside more time to soak it all in.
