A perfect sunset sail for our honeymoon
We took a tour around the lagoon and different cenotes, and learned alot about the ecology and history. We started around 4pm and ended with a beautiful sunset. Our hosts Leandro and Sisal were very good hosts, very friendly and attentive, I would recommend them to anyone. It was our honeymoon and they made it feel special.

Bacalar Lagoon
Our boat tour in Bacalar was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guide, Samuel, was fantastic—he was incredibly knowledgeable about the lake's history and ecosystem, and his friendly, welcoming personality made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable group boat...
Enjoyable group boat tour. Great value as you can stay and use the kayaks after the tour. The boat had plenty of shade and the company allowed you to wear sunscreen prior to accessing the boat. Beers, juice and water provided. Guide had great knowledge and plenty of time to have free time to swim. Overall a great way to explore the Bacalar lagoon.

Beautiful and relaxing experience!
We love sailing and it was great to be the passenger and let someone else handle the sails. Costa did a great job and knew a lot about the area, and could even answer our birding questions. Just remember that you can't wear sunscreen so dress accordingly.

Visitors to the Quintana Roo town of Bacalar are primarily there to experience the beauty of Lake Bacalar, also known as the “Lagoon of Seven Colors.” Whether you book a catamaran tour or stand-up paddleboard excursion, your expert-guided Bacalar tour will show you the deserted islands, rock formations, and migratory birds that make this part of Mexico extra special. Go snorkeling in the cenotes, pass through the “pirates’ channel,” and soak up the sun in the self-proclaimed Maldives of Mexico.
