Unmissable
Very beautiful excursion! We discover very beautiful landscapes throughout the trip, our guide Jeoff shared with us many facts and anecdotes concerning the country, the fauna, and the flora. Hobbiton is incredible to see, whether you have seen the movies or not, you are immersed in the universe from the very first moments! For Waiotapu, watch out for the smell of sulfur which can be quite unpleasant, but the place is worth it. The small group trip is a big plus, we have space in the minibus, we get along, and we can easily chat together. Very informative visit, I highly recommend this excursion!

Worth it!
We arrived at the info centre, hopped on the bus which was helmed by a very lovely tour guide, got to hit the gift shop at hobbiton, which was then commenced by a walking tour throughout the shire. Everything was done to great detail and as a fan of the films it was really immersive and fantastical to be there in real life.

Perfect way to see the best of Rotorua in a day without feeling rushed at all. I opted for the Secret Spot Hot Tubs as my extra activity which I felt went perfectly balanced with Waiotapu - 3km walk around the thermal pools to a deep soak in the hot tub. Would highly recommend Cheeky Kiwi tours to anyone travelling to NZ, our tour guide Matt was lovely and very knowledgeable about everything about the North Island. Thank you for a great day out Matt!

Lots of Hokei Pokei
Our luck was in - we were the only people on the tour - and our guide Danny gave us the perfect individual experience. Friendly, chatty and very knowledgeable, Danny showed us all around Auckland. We saw the Botanical Gardens, volcanoes, parks, exclusive residential neighbourhoods, a fantastic wine tasting, Mount Eden and chowed down on a Hokei Pokei ice cream. We even made an unscheduled stop at the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron to take a peek at the Americas Cup trophy. Great tour, great tour guide, great experience.

A fabulous day!
We had a lovely day on the Hobbiton tour with Bush and Beach. We had a lovely, knowledgeable driver/guide who made our day very enjoyable.
The van was comfortable and it was nice that every seat wasn’t taken. The seats are quite slim, which is something to note.
My only feedback would be that I thought that our stops on the way down and back were very random, I was anticipating a lovely little bakery or cafe/shop in a little town on the way down, however we stopped at the freeway/roadside stop. This was time efficient, I can understand, but I just would’ve really liked to have gone to a lovely little bakery, as Its own experience. On the stop back we stopped at a raceway to access the Cafe. Most of the other people in my tour enjoyed this, which I was happy for. However, it just felt a bit random to me.
Overall, the day was very well managed, comfortable and enjoyable and I would definitely do a tour with this company again. Their customer service and communication is on point.

Aukland-Icing on the Cake Tour
After traveling from Australia through New Zealand, we thought we'd seen it all upon arriving to Aukland. Sean took us on this very interesting tour of the outer parts of Aukland and we really enjoyed it! He was so informative, thorough and a great personal photographer😊

The best geothermal experience
The pickup and the tour event were stress-free and on time.
The guide David's explanation was easy to understand, and the restaurant we stopped at for a restroom break was delicious too.
If you want to experience the geothermal areas of New Zealand, I absolutely recommend it.

Great tour experience
Pick up was great. Driver was right on time. Hanoz was knowledgeable about the area and the sites we visited on our tour. He kept the group engaged and his banter was friendly. The glow worm caves were spectacular. At Te Puia, we learned a lot about the Maōri culture. This activity seemed a bit fast-paced...wish we had more time to enjoy the area, learn their customs, and experience the hot springs.

Although it did ended up raining halfway through the tour we had an enjoyable experience walking down and taking in the view at the Coromandel Cathedral. Our guide was also helpful in showing people where to dig and dip the feet’s at hot water beach to experience the hot springs the best

Windy adventure on the harbour
We had a great time with Pippa, Alec and Olivia. The crew was quite friendly and the sailing was top notch. It was a windy day and the boat keeled over and glided effortlessly through the harbour. I would not hesitate to recommend. A true sailing adventure!

An Auckland must do
With a couple of extra days in Auckland I had asked on FB for recommendations on what to do. A couple of contributors replied that this was an absolute "must do". We duly booked it for the afternoon of our arrival. With glorious sunny weather it seemed we were all set for a memorable afternoon. Unfortunately when we turned up we were advised that due to winds it would not go ahead. Clearly safety was of utmost importance so gold star for that. We were offered the opportunity to receive a refund or to rearrange. Staff at the desk went out of their way to assist us. We were lucky enough to be able to rearrange and for the sail to go ahead. And it was certainly a memorable one for our last day in Auckland
I think the yacht can take 30 passengers but i don't think there was a full contingent. The crew were friendly whilst at the same time being professional. Safety procedure were clearly explained to us. The crew explained the history of the yacht to us and engaged with us continually. There is an opportunity to actually help with crewing the yacht and it was certainly tempting to .join in. However we just took the opportunity to sit back and enjoy an exhilarating experience. It might not be the cheapest of experiences but we loved every minute and were so glad we did it.

It is a wonderful facility that expresses the historical facts head on.
It is a wonderful museum that shows Māori culture and history, and a national attitude towards dignity as a people. I was impressed by their willingness to tell the truth without romanticizing war or Māori culture. I liked the fact that it conveyed volcanoes not only in terms of spirituality but also in terms of geologic aspects. I hope to visit again someday.
