Frank was a great tour guide! He was engaging, gave pertinent facts about Verona, and kept things light and entertaining. We were happy to do this tour at night, as the crowds were a bit less than the day. It was a great introduction to the city and the length of time was perfect for my teenagers.

We were lucky to have Maria, our guide to ourselves because the other guests canceled. We learned so much about Verona’s history and architecture, along with the trivia and folklore relating to the city. We felt it was a great tour.

Of all of our tours in Italy this is the one I had the lowest expectations and the one I was most happy with. Our tour guide Maria was fantastic. Animated and knowledgeable after 90 minutes, despite the fact we were both exhausted and my feet hurt I could have happily listened to her for another hour or more. I would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Maria! She was so knowledgeable about architecture, stories, history, and the beautiful places to go she made the walk feel magical for myself and my two adult children (25 female) (21 male). She was engaging and friendly and we all learned quite a lot without it feeling like it was a class. She personalized the tour with details about other Italian cities we know. I would recommend this tour to everyone who comes to Verona! She took us to places we never would have gone on our own. We all loved it

It was a small almost private tour so we got to choose what we would be most interested in hearing. We learned about the great stories of the city and some of its history too! The think that I appreciated most was that our tour guide took her time at explaining and answering our questions with lots of good details. Also the way she told us the story with her enthusiasm makes the experience that much more enjoyable! I really recommend the tour for a good background of the city of Verona! 🩷

We had a fabulous time on this tour. Our guide told us intriguing stories of the city of
Verona. Not only was it historical but many stories about the various rulers of the city and even stores regarding Romeo and Juliet I didn't know that Shakespear never visited Verona!

We did this walking tour the first day we arrived to Verona. Frank was an excellent guide and kept us engaged the whole time. He kept the tour moving, but we still walked away with some great tidbits and stories of Verona. Frank was so knowledgeable and could answer just about any question. It was so hot during our trip in August so it was such a relief to do this tour in the evening. Great tour to take at the beginning of your trip!

Frank was our guide on this tour. My husband I ended up receiving a private tour as the other couple cancelled at the last minute. Frank has a degree in the history of fine art and has lived in Verona for the majority of his life so he was very knowledgeable. He asked us what we were most interested in seeing (art, architecture, the colosseum, the Capulet house) and catered the tour to our requests. He even recommended a restaurant for the next day! It was our first time in Verona and we really enjoyed this tour.

On top of the knowledge was a fantastic presentation style, charisma and humour. The added bonus of doing the tour at night provides opportunity to admire Verona's beauty at sunset and darkness.
