It was magical! The experience was Lovely. The singing was beautiful and the atmosphere was out of straight out of a storybook. They sell seat mats outside we bought one each. It was needed sitting on the stone for a long tme and a great souvenir. When. We left the performance and the singers were singing in the town. It just echoed was wonderful.

Pay more for a seat because even though they say the acoustics allow you to hear it all at times you can’t. So the performance becomes disjointed. It’s an amazing experience but would if doing again pay for better seats

Paid over $125 for Verona opera seats that were supposed to have plastic seats with backs. Instead got seating on boulders with no backs and learned tickets would have been $65 if bought directly from opera site vendor. Very disappointed.

the product title is Arena di Verona Opera Ticket Package. You did not buy only the ticket for the Opera. Your ticket was clearly in 6th sector category that were never been supposed to be on plastic seats with backs. Here below the public information everybody see before buy the package.
You have included:

As you can see, you had also a 1 hour walking city tour with Verona official guide.
Considering all of these, the rate you paid it's the cheapest offer you can find on the internet. Im sorry, but you cannot find anywhere a ticket for opera with a city guided tour at 56€ per person.
if you only wanted the opera ticket, you should have bought it somewhere else. here you bought a package of services, clearly specified as well as the category of the ticket.

Was the best last minute decision! Highly recommend seeing any Opera while in Verona. This is perfect if the opera is sold out on main site and you want to also go on a walking tour. There was a out an hour in between end of your and when you to be at the Arena. Plenty of places to eat nearby

Reasonable price for opera tickets and a short, interesting tour of the historic centre of Verona.
Would recommend. Spoilt slightly by it being too easy to end up buying twice the number of tickets than you need!

Enjoyable. But effectively you pay a premium for not buying the same tickets earlier. However, this gave us access when the arena had sold out. Seats were well positioned, and were numbered, but are high up on the stone steps - be aware that these can be uncomfortable on long performances, even if you bring or buy the cushions. We did not do the tour - that is seemingly an add on to justify the price premium over the face value of the tickets.

The city tour was informative and the Opera was an amazing experience. The strange thing is that our opera tickets were for over 65’s and we are not! We were allowed into the arena but suspect that someone is making profit on the tickets by lying about our ages.

This is an icing on the cake for our Verona trip ! What an amazing opportunity to see this opening show of the opera season . The music , singing and plays were all spectacular. Very lucky that Viator had tickets available for us a day before the show ! 👍🏻

Our Tour guide was really informative. She had a lot of information to give in an hour.
The Opera was very well done. Just a heads up you need something to sit on or buy a sitting pad from outside. Also the tickets are collect from 6 or 7 gate

The tour beforehand was excellent and informative. We actually thought we were having a tour of the arena and not the city, however we thoroughly enjoyed this part.
The opera was spectacular, however we were so far up the arena, that the singing was inaudible, and if you read the subtitles you lost what was happening in the opera.

If you own a Barclqycard book direct and save yourself half the price of this trip - tickets for these seats cost 25E each - so paying more than £100 is a rip-off!
That having been said - fab performance of Aida - incredible staging and great performers making for a magical night.

Hello, you paid for a package, not only for the Tickets.
In the price is included also a 1-hour walking tour of Verona highlights with with official City Guide, 1 ticket for public transport, assistance in loco, informative booklet and text for Opera.
Evidently you arrived late and could not participate in the walking tour .. If you wish you can do it one of the next days of the opera without paying anything.
Please be careful next time and read the inclusions before leave a review like this.. :(

Great tour of the highlights of Verona, finishing off with an amazing experience at the opera! It was surreal to be in this ancient arena!
Only reason I gave 4 stars, though, was that it wasn’t communicated that we couldn’t bring our water bottles in as well as long lens cameras into the arena. We had to find lockers in a sketchy alley down the road to lock up our water bottles and camera.

What an experience to see an opera in an ancient coliseum
The seats are in the upper tier, however the acoustics were amazing.
We enjoyed the walking tour of Verona as well. Our guide was knowledgeable.

Die Stadtführung durch Verona war sehr gut und mit viel Humor und unser Opernabend, die Aida, beeindruckend und pompös. Für die Arena ist empfehlenswert einen Sitzpolster mitzunehmen und viel Zeit für den WC Besuch einzuplanen!

Het boeken van een ticket ging redelijk, niet super eenvoudig omdat betaling haperde.
We kochten een ticket voor de opera in verona en kregen er een stadstoer van 1 uur bij. Goede deal dachten wij.
Gids was helaas al vertrokken. En ticket voor opera was 27€. Wij betaalden 66€ p.p. Wel een beetje k gevoel aan overgehouden. Opera was wel mooi.

Goedemorgen, laat me begrijpen ... je komt laat aan en klaagt dat de Verona City Guide al was vertrokken?
Het spijt me om deze enigszins lasterlijke recensie tegen ons te lezen, waardoor we onterechte imagoschade hebben opgelopen.
We zijn een serieus bedrijf, als we zeggen dat de tour om 18.00 uur begint, vertrekken we om 18.00 uur. Om deze reden is het noodzakelijk om om 17:45 uur te verschijnen bij Gate n16 in het Arena di Verona Montebaldo-bureau, zoals vermeld op de voucher en op de boekingssite.
We kunnen niet wachten op late mensen zoals jij uit respect voor alle andere klanten die klaar en op tijd waren om de tour te doen. (Ik geef aan dat je niet eens hebt gewaarschuwd)
Maar bedankt voor de beoordeling, waardoor ik beter kan specificeren wat ons pakket bevat (wat niet alleen is wat ze zegt):
- Ticket voor de Opera in de Arena van Verona
- 1 uur stadsgids van Verona in het Engels + Duits (vertrek om 18:00 uur zoals overal aangegeven !!)
- Busticket om het Gardameer te bereiken vanuit Verona en vice versa
- Assistentie bij Gate n16
- Beschrijvende tekst van de Opera
Het is onmogelijk om ergens anders een pakket te vinden dat al deze diensten omvat voor de prijs die u hebt betaald !!
