This tour was a lot of fun and great way to see Tangier! Safouane spoke very good English and was informative and helpful. Van was very nice and comfortable and air conditioned. Despite being a foggy day we were able to see all the sights. The highlight for us was definitely the camel ride at the beach

This should not be leveled a tour but rather a transportation service. From the beginning, it was a bit of a disaster. I received a text the night before from the tour guide, stating that they would meet us at the port as soon as we got off of the cruise ship. In the text message, it stated that they had special permission from the port to come out to where the cruise ships were located on the dock. There were some tour companies and buses located there however, our tour guide was nowhere to be seen. After looking for 20 minutes, I finally called and was told that I had to walk over to where the mosque was located. The blue sign that was promised was actually a black-and-white sign and that made it difficult to find the driver. We were then walked to a parking lot and finally boarded the van. We had a driver and an escort and very little communication. They both spent the entire trip on their mobile phones and made me nervous on the windy roads. They delivered us to the spots as promised. Cape Spartel is very pretty and worth the trip. The Hercules cave is not. It is a hand dug cave with an opening to the sea that supposedly looks like the map of Africa. It does not. If Hercules was on a bender and wanted to pretend he was in Ibiza, he may have spent a few hours here. The inside of the cave is lit up with poorly designed, disco lights that make it very difficult to see. The area was surrounded by scammers trying to sell you all kinds of worthless junk. The beach is relatively small and smells like camel dung. The camels are small and it appears to be torturous to them to give rides on the beach. Did not feel that the tour delivered as promised and is poorly run.

Regarding the meeting point, our message did not state that your driver would meet you directly beside the cruise ship. We sent meeting instructions in advance, including a photo showing where to meet near the mosque/port exit. The sign used by our team was navy blue with white lettering. We understand how, from a distance, this could have appeared black and white and contributed to the difficulty locating the team, and we are sorry that the meeting process was frustrating.
We are more concerned by your comments regarding phone use during the journey. Our drivers are expected to prioritize safe driving at all times, and our team members should remain attentive to guests throughout the service. We take this feedback seriously and have addressed it internally.
We would also like to clarify the nature of the experience. This is a sightseeing experience with a driver and local companion/escort, visiting the locations advertised in the itinerary. It is not sold as a privately guided historical tour with a certified tour guide providing continuous commentary. Nevertheless, we expect our team to communicate, assist and engage with guests, and we regret that you felt this was simply transportation from one location to another.
Regarding Cape Spartel, Hercules Caves, the camel area and the other attractions, we respect that every traveler may have a different opinion of the places they visit. Those personal impressions are outside our control, but the organization, communication, safety and service provided by our team are our responsibility.
We appreciate the feedback and will use the operational points you raised to improve the experience for future guests, while also clarifying the meeting procedure and service description wherever necessary.

I travelled to Tangier as a female solo traveller and found this tour a great way to see all the most iconic sights of Tangier in a day! Sohayb is a very friendly and hospitable driver and was more than happy to drive me to places not in the itinerary, such as an ATM stop or the grocery store. The tour was a very memorable experience and I recommend it to anyone visiting Tangier!

The driver picked us up on time in a comfortable minivan from the cruise port. Four others were also part of this excursion for a total of 8. They provided water, snacks, and a booklet explaining the history of Morocco and information on the sites. The driver was polite and spoke enough English. He did not provide tour guide type information throughout the city. His main role was driving. This tour was very affordable, reliable, and smooth. The sites and camel ride were great. Just know you will not have a driver who is talking or providing additional information about the attractions. If you are ok with that, then this will be a good tour for you.

This tour was excellent value for money. The description clearly states what is or is not included with the trip. Our guide.Mounir was very knowledgeable and even had an impromptu stop at the famous sign where two oceans meet unfortunately we did not get the full hour at Cap Spartel. It was such a pretty place which couldn’t give it justice in 45 minutes. We did have the hour at the cave which flew by and we also managed to climb down to the rocks. I did get the impression that maybe a tea was included with the café stop.
Overall for five hours being driven around it was well worth it. However, if you wish to spend longer at the other places, maybe pay for a private driver for the day.

I had an absolutely amazing experience on the Cape Spartel & Hercules Caves 5-Hour Tour with Camel Ride in Tangier!
I travelled with my four-year-old daughter, and our driver and tour guide, Oualid Zarouala, made the entire experience so comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free for both of us. He was incredibly punctual, professional, friendly, attentive, and patient throughout the tour.
Oualid was very knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information about the local history, culture, and landmarks in such an engaging way. He made us feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after from beginning to end.
The tour itself was beautiful — the breathtaking views at Cape Spartel, the fascinating Hercules Caves, and the unforgettable camel ride were all highlights of our trip. My four-year-old daughter even rode a camel by herself for the first time, and she was completely safe, comfortable, and very well taken care of throughout the experience, which gave me so much peace of mind as a parent.
Travelling alone with a young child can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Oualid made the whole day feel easy, safe, and enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tangier, especially families travelling with children. Truly a 5-star experience and one of the best parts of our trip to Morocco! 🇲🇦✨

The guide (Abdul) was excellent, he made sure we were treated well at all the stops, took photos when requested and very attentive and knowledgeable. Great experience ! Camel ride was an adventure and just long enough… really well panned day! The only point of concern was at times I didn’t feel the air conditioning in the van but it was a nice 70 degree day, so it was manageable had it been warmer that would have been a bigger issue.

The day before our tour the tour operator reached out and said they did not have enough people to do the tour but could offer us a private tour for an extra 5 euros a person in cash. They told us it would be a minivan or 4X4. We said yes!!! We were supposed to have terminal pickup, this agent did not have clearances to come pick us up where 99% of the tour operators picked up and we had a 14 min walk to meet our driver. The vehicle was a car, again not what was promised.
This was not a tour but basically a driver who took us to our 3 stops. The driver was friendly and car was clean.
The driver let the tour operator know this was not what I expected and all the tour operators picked said was ask everyone else what they paid. “They paid more than you.” To us, it wasn’t about the cost, it was being promised one thing and another happened. We are fortunate we are able to make the walk without issues.

Regarding the pickup from the terminal, I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, due to port authority regulations, we do not have clearance to enter the terminal area — this is something clearly noted in our Viator listing, and most travelers are informed of it during the booking process. Terminal pickups require special port access and come with an additional charge. That said, I sincerely regret that the 14-minute walk caused inconvenience, and I appreciate your understanding.
As for the vehicle, you were originally scheduled to be picked up in a Hyundai Tucson. However, due to a last-minute mechanical issue, the car had to be sent to the garage and we had to quickly provide an alternative. The replacement was a Skoda Superb — a licensed and fully insured tourism vehicle, not a random car. I understand it wasn’t the 4x4 that was initially mentioned, and I apologize for the mismatch.
Lastly, I’m sorry if the experience felt more like a transfer than a guided tour. We’ll take your comments seriously and improve communication in the future to ensure a more seamless and transparent experience.

My ship delayed docking by an hour and Azz patiently waited for us. Luckily the 2 other people on the tour were also in the same ship. Each scenic spot was about 30 mins. The camel ride was chill yet interesting experience. Bring a sunhat. It's very sunny
