We very much enjoyed the Manly Beach bike tour. Nice bikes and helmets. Our guide Michael was excellent. Kind and warm, funny entertaining and informative! He was also very good about safety and keeping the group together
We had a small group of 6, so we were able to meet new friends and enjoy the ride together
Seeing a different part of Sydney plus a ferry ride was a good extra. Michael finished up with some hidden gems in The Rocks
Highly recommended

Great experience! Gave us a baseline to understand the layout of the city and we now know how to plan our subsequent moves

Took a 2 1/2 hour bike tour around Sydney. It’s a great way to see a lot of the famous areas in a short amount of time. Michael with @bonzabiketours was informative, funny and knowledgeable. This was an “easy” bike ride and for the most part it was. There’s a small section about five blocks uphill. The most challenging part was dodging pedestrians.

We had a great time on this tour. The bikes were very good. My wife had an e-bike and mine was a regular one. Our guide took us to so many interesting places at a very comfortable pace. We even got to take photos from the middle of the bridge overlooking the opera house. We saw so much on this tour and will happily recommend it to others.

The difficulty of this tour is not properly conveyed. It is rated 1.5 out of 5, but it is more like a 3 out of 5. There are some significant hills on the tour, and we live in a flat, coastal area, so riding bikes uphill is not something we are used to. Nowhere does it mention that. The guy at the shop downplayed the hills a lot, and if we had gotten a more honest description of the tour, we would have done electric bikes.
The tour overall just went on too long, and it always felt like you were riding so fast that you missed everything along the way, and the stop information was too much. A lot of the riding was on busy roads, and you were navigating around a lot, leaving no time to enjoy the city.
We have done bike tours in at least 10 other cities around the world, and they are usually our favorite way to see a city, but this tour was not enjoyable at all.

Good morning,
Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I am so sorry to hear that you felt this tour was not accurately conveyed. I can confirm this tour has 4 hills with varying lengths and types of inclines (some steeper than others) however the 1.5/5 difficulty, I understand, is subjective.
It's really important to us that we are 100% honest when it comes to our tour descriptions and so we will use this opportunity to review our processes as a team so we can develop and improve as a team.
In regards to length, I can see you booked the most popular, our Sydney Classic Tour which is 4 hours long and includes some hills however the Highlights Tour is 2.5 hours and is primarily flat. We are always more than happy to advise guests on which tour may be the most suitable to what they're looking for.
Regarding the roads, the majority of the ride is shared with pedestrians but there are some quiet streets shared with cars however all of our guides are highly trained on how to navigate the streets of Sydney. The Hill with the traffic lights towards the end of the tour is an isolated bike lane away from the traffic and is the safest way to get from one end of the city to the other.
Our priority is the safest, flattest and most scenic ride that is available within the biking infrastructure of Sydney.
Again, thank you for your feedback - I am really sorry to hear about your experience and hope that you have a wonderful rest of your trip.
Kind regards,
Ivy (Manager)

Absolute must do. The staff was amazing. Dillan was our tour guide. So full of knowledge and passionate about her City. She took us - Everywhere! We loved her. The homemade lunch was so good. Only viatour issue - the e-bike we had to pay extra when we arrive. But e-bike is a must.

Bring water, maybe upgrade to an e-bike. Wonderful ride through and around the city. Michael, our guide was wonderful informed and a pleasure to ride with

This is a good overview of the City. There were parts of the tours that involved navigating through crowds on our tour. The guide could have been equipped with a portable mic to hear him better. Fergus was a great guide and watched for traffic to keep us safe on the ride

Great way to see more of the harbor and learn about the city. The harbor is awesome from different vantage points. guide Andrew was great.

The excursion is not very tenuous. You will see all the major points of the beautiful city. Bring a water bottle with you. No need for an electrical bike.
Jennifer_B, Nov 2025
Andry was a great guide. We cycled about 11-12km and saw a lot of interesting parts of the city. Very easy ride, no stress.

Absolutely loved this bike tour of Sydney! We learned so much about the city and saw so many different things! Even got to ride on the Harbor Bridge!
Christian_T, Oct 2025
A very nice bike trip that brought us into areas we would never gave discovered on our own and on foot. Excellent introduction to Sydney. The bike ride was very relaxed and the route quite easy.
The best part of the tour was our quide, Jimmy, who was engaging, funny and told some awesome stories about Sydney. We got a super good impression of the tour operator, Bonza Bike Tours.
Highly recommended!

Excellent relaxed ride. Saw lots of the city. Only suggestion for a tour from 10:30 to 2:30 would be a scheduled snack stop.
Sherri_D, Oct 2025
Great tour with our guide Luke. It is however some steep hills and does take a bit of effort. If you are unsure I would suggest an e bike. Luke was great presenting all the information and making everyone comfortable throughout the entire tour. We had fun😀
Roshan_K, Sept 2025
Great way to explore city on a bike. Had a great time with ever smiling and the most friendly guide of ours Andray who is very knowledgeable about local areas, taking good care throughout the bike trip of more than 4 hours, making sure everyone in the group stay together and giving all kind of local information about the landmarks that we had visited. Had lot of fun.

This was hands down the best way to be introduced to Sydney! Dylan was an incredible guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating stories about the city’s history. Dylan also gave us fantastic recommendations on things to do and see during our trip. I couldn’t recommend this tour more highly!
Troy_M, Jul 2025
Our guide Luke was amazing. His top priority was our safety and seeing as much as we could see on the tour. He did an outstanding job. It was great because we got to see things we normally wouldn’t. Also, it gave us ideas as to what we wanted to come back and spend more time visiting.
Response from Host, Aug 2025
G'Day Troy.
We love hearing that you had a great time. Luke is great and safety is his and all of our guides top priority.
We feel bike is the best way to get the "lay of the land" of the city and get a feel of the areas you want to explore more.
Safe travels

Jay and his team were very friendly from beginning to the end. Jay knew so much about Sydney and loved sharing its history with us. Where he took us for lunch was breathtaking. We are local Sydney siders and booked it for our Anniversary it was a great day ! Highly recommend if you want a fun day out :).
Response from Host, Jul 2025
G"day Karin,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such beautiful feedback. It's great to have some true locals along on our tour.
Hope we showed you something new or told you a story you may not have heard yet.
We love Jay around here and the passion he brings.
Happy Anniversary and hope you pop in again just to say hi.
Thanks.

This is a nice way to see Sydney. Our tour guide, Luke, was excellent. We did the 4 hour classic tour which was a great balance of biking and sightseeing. We had a large group but we could easily follow him and listen to his informative commentary.

An Absolute Blast! Bonza Bike Tours, you've set the bar impossibly high! Our tour with Jay was nothing short of brilliant. This man isn't just a guide; he's a walking, talking encyclopedia of Sydney with a fantastic sense of humor. He knew all the iconic spots, of course, but also whisked us away to hidden gems off the beaten path – a true local's insight!
The ride itself was incredibly comfortable; we made great time without ever feeling rushed or strained. The bikes were smooth as silk, making me feel totally safe and at ease.
Seriously, if you're looking for an unforgettable bike tour in Sydney, look no further than Bonza Bike Tours with Jay. I'm already dreaming of my next ride with him and his amazing team!

Absolutely lovely bike trip. Tour guide was knowledgeable and very personable. In addition, he managed to orchestrate a fun K-pop TikTok dance for us to observe.
