Board your jet boat at Mariners Cove Marina. Your captain provides a safety briefing and necessary equipment before putting your boat in gear for a breathtaking ride with Gold Coast sightseeing highlights.
The jet boat can easily reach speeds of up to 40 knots (almost 50 mph, or 80 kph), with your captain expertly performing tricks such as 360-degree spins, power slides, high-speed drifting and other exciting maneuvers along the scenic waterways of the Broadwater.
Part of the fun is getting wet, so dress accordingly and enjoy the cool breezes and water splashes. Secure storage is provided for your belongings at the office, and an onboard camera captures photos that you can purchase afterward.
Slow down to check out landmarks like the Southport Yacht Club, Marina Mirage, Palazzo Versace Hotel, Seaworld, Southport Seaway, Runaway Bay and Paradise Point. Note the waterfront mansions of ritzy Sovereign Island and admire the natural beauty of Moreton Bay Marine Park where dolphins, wallabies and abundant birdlife live. Glide by mangrove forests on Crab Island, Ephraim Island and South Stradbroke Island.
While other jet boat operators turn around at Wavebreak Island, your jet boat tour continues for another 18 miles (30km), making it a more comprehensive 55-minute ride.

A fantastic experience during our trip to the Gold Coast. The almost one hour tour flew by so quickly and kids loved it. The captain was very friendly and also we were surprised to find all the pictures taken are free of charge. Highly recommend!

This was amazing. We have done a few jet boat rides, but this one was one of the best. The staff was very friendly and made sure we enjoyed every minute.

Macca gave clear instructions & getting ready was quick & easy,l. After we left we saw some wild life, Macca gave us some information about the animals then we continued on, doing some whips & driving fast across the washouts from other boats which was great fun. We stopped to have a chat about the islands & the coast then continued on around Sovereign Island looking at the mansions along the water. Macca told us some interesting facts about some of the people who own these mega homes, it was very interesting & I enjoyed this. We did more whips, tore around the bay headed towards south Stradbroke to check out more wildlife before heading back into the cove. It was fast, fun, interesting & exciting. We would have loved to do more whips & turns but it was still great. My friend & I really enjoyed it, I would do this trip again.
