The most amazing tour guide Nadja and best skipper REM. We had an awesome group of people from Australia, America, Ireland, UK, and Europe. Everyone had an amazing time. We were in awe to see the amazing beautiful scenery surrounding the Tara river. We stopped for breakfast and started down to the opening of the river. The skipper had so much fun with us as he made the experience more interesting by stopping to explore the waterfalls in Bosnia. We then stopped for lunch which was very delicious. What an amazing adventure. This is my second year in a row coming on this tour. I definitely enjoyed it even more this year. The day we went it was my fiancés birthday. This is all he wanted to do for his birthday so we booked a trip all the way from the United States just to celebrate his 50th birthday on the Tara river. I recommend this tour to everyone anybody anytime. Awesome experience!!!!

It was a fun experience although I wish I would have checked the season before booking as the waters were pretty tame. It’s a bit a drive to get there but you have a few stops along the way for breaks. I’d recommend taking cash as there are some interesting bars you stop at as you go through the river and also to tip for the food and the tour guide at the end of the day. You also get some pretty good food which is well deserved after such a long day.

4 stars – My daughter Evie and I had a brilliant day rafting the Tara River. The scenery was stunning, the food was great, and the whole trip felt safe and well organised. Igor, our guide, really made the experience – funny, knowledgeable, and genuinely lovely. The rafting itself was gentle, ideal for beginners. Only reason it’s not five stars is poor pre-trip communication and the surprise of an eight-hour round-trip drive, which we hadn’t expected. Still, a fantastic day overall and a great intro to white water rafting.

This will be a long day but also a highlight of your trip to Montenegro. The road trip to the Tara River is a great opportunity to see the countryside and spectacular scenery. The rafting itself is a lot of fun and a very special experience with the ice cold, crystal clear water, bird song and butterflies along the route. The breakfast and lunch provided are very good, freshly made, home cooked meals. You will remember this one!

Very impressive tour guide Nikola. From the very beginning he was warm and welcoming. He educated us on the history of Montenegro. 🇲🇪. The food was good quality and fresh. The rafting was super fun but nothing crazy. The stops in the middle of the canyon on Tara river were breathtaking. We were able to cliff jump in 2 areas and also visit a beautiful waterfall. We had an amazing time and highly recommend such an excursion to anyone looking for an adventurous time.

Excellent and memorable experience. This tour was a lot of fun. A lot of driving but you don’t really feel it. Our driver did a great job. The breakfast and lunch is so delicious and fresh. Nothing processed. Vania is an excellent guide. The tour company 360 Monte executes their tours professionally without a question.

I can't recommend this trip enough! Our driver and guide Miloš was incredible - a very lovely and funny man with a great deal of knowledge about the country and even bordering nations. The drive there and back was beautiful, with thoughtfully-planned stops for photos and breaks. The rafting itself was amazing! Not too technical in July but still thrilling enough. We had the chance to stop for swimming and (small) cliff jumping, as well as a stop along the way for a beer. We were a little worried about the availability of vegan food but Miloš communicated our requirements very well and we were certainly well-fed! Thank you Miloš for an unforgettable trip. You will be lucky if you get Miloš as your guide!

This trip exceeded all expectations right from the pick up I'm the morning. The vehicle was comfortable, clean with AC. The driver was an exceptional host, and very knowledgeable about his country and its history. The drive across the land to the base camp was beautiful.
"Breakfast" was a delicious plate of Meats and cheeses, eggs, fresh bread and home-made cherry jam. "Lunch", at the end of the day was a traditional hot meal with pit roast, potatoes, veg and salad. All served fresh and hot.
As for the day on the river...unforgettable. The raft guide knew the river well and directed us to navigate the small rapids. We were even able jump out and float alongside at times.
The whole day was filled with fun and laughter with newly made friends.

Great day trip to river Tara. The river was quite calm so it wasn't as thrilling but absolutely beautiful scenery throughout the journey. It's a long drive but our tour guide Igor made it fun and more enjoyable. Breakfast and lunch that are included were also great. I would highly recommend it

Fantastic tour with Stavislav our tour guide. So knowledgable about the area. We had plenty of stops so the long drive 3 hours felt easy as the scenery is stunning. The food at the rafting was fantastic. If you are after an Adrenaline rush you may not get it in July as the river was flowing slowly so the rafting was not challenging but the water is beautiful. Our rafting guide Stephan was great a local guide who knew the water well. I would not hesitate to book again

I have always wanted to go white water rafting ..... its an early start but boy was it worth it. Our driver took us through some amazing beautiful scenery. We had all the safety equipment and a lovely guide Boris to take us down the river, stunning stunning stunning. This day out will go down as one of the best days ever and can now tick off my bucket list. Thank you for such great memories Our guide Nina was also lovely and helped me out when I felt a little travel sick, thank you x

Was a fantastic white river rafting trip down the most pristine crystal clear river I have ever seen. The tour guides are very friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The equipment was in good condition. The food was delicious. A thoroughly enjoyable trip that I would recommend to anybody visiting Montenegro.

The tour guide was masterful at discussing the history of the country and region. The tour guides inexplicably told us not to bring money or water on the boat in 90+F heat. The raft guide provided no information on the water and that combined with nothing but handfuls of river water it was a rough day. The final kick in the pants was the guide stopped for "ten minutes" and disappeared for 40 minutes to a beer garten. i'd have LOVED a beer but I was told not to bring money! Back at camp I was told the raft guide was to buy us beer and we repay them upon retuning. Clear as mud! I have rafted dozens of times and never had to worry about losing it from my shorts. Weird for them to make this so difficult. I had a good breakfast but was so dehydrated after I didn't eat for 24 hours. Also we stopped 3-4 times on the way to the Canyon and after everyone was in their seats and the bus door was closing they announced we are not stopping on the way back so also they could communicate expectations better.

We stopped along the way to see the best views of montenegro which was amazing and we got to learn history.
The food was home cooked and was more than enough for the whole day of eating!
The White water rafting lasted 3:30mins in total and was full of piece full and then rapid moments.
It was absolutely stunning and one of the best tours I've ever been on.

Jelena was a fantastic tour guide, we had an entertaining ride up to the mountains. Breakfast was awesome and the rafting was phenomenal with a highly capable and fun skipper who let us jump in and go down rapids in our life jackets where it was safer to do so. This one provides wetsuits I noticed some of them didn't. I wouldn't want to do this without a wetsuit it's extremely cold in the river as its melt water that's "rapid" so doesn't heat up in the sun like the ocean. Even if you don't go swimming you will get wet. We took our gopro. The dinner was great and journey back was fine. The vehicle they take you in is great and aircon. It was one of our best experiences whilst in montengro, the mountains the views the rafting all in all an awesome day. The water is just incredible, clear beautiful and drinkable the entire thing was magical!

For anyone visiting Kotor or any of the nearby cities, this tour is a must-do.
The bus drive from Kotor, combined with the traditional breakfast and lunch, knowledgeable and humorous tour guide as well as the rafting experience itself makes this a completely incredible value for money trip.
Even after the experience, the tour company was extremely helpful in making sure all those on the tour who purchased the GoPro footage captured by the rafting guide was received - a testament to this tour companies (360 Monte) commitment to customer service.

Awesome day trip - lots of stops along the way to break up the journey.
Option to do a zip-wire on the way home - decide on the day.
Rafting was v.well curated - probably x10 "rapids" that got exciting but totally safe, the rest was a very chilled trip down the canyon (which is breathtakingly beautiful).
Breakfast & lunch were excellent.
They'll give you wet suits, life vests and a crash helmet. There's a waterproof bag in the raft that you can put valuables in - take some cash if you want a drink at one of the stops along the rafting route.
The rafting was super easy but there's a pretty steep climb back up from the landing spot which might be a consideration if you're not steady on your pins!

Such an awesome day trip! The river is exciting and the views are beautiful! Our driver and skippers were super professional and fun! Breakfast and lunch were delicious and came with so much food! You also take multiple stops for pictures and breaks on the way there. One of my favorite day trips we did in Europe. Highly recommend!

JELENA was a great guide. She got us to stop at most picturesque views along the way to Tara River. The food included were delicious home cooked local dishes - made with love. The river rafting company had all the safety equipments and we had the best skipper but qe barely paddled (which is a good thing) because he was training a newby. It was great to see his skills and if only we could understamd their language, we could have learned too. We were blessed with a good day so over all, a great experience! Thank you Monte 360!

It was our first time rafting with my boyfriend and two friends (one has done it before). We didn't get many instructions, as you'd expect, but our raft was intuitive and we did well.
The skipper instructed us during the trip, we were able to take a dip in 12-degree Tara, as well as those who wished, could jump in the currents and from a cliff.
3 hours flew by very fast.
If you like extremes and active trips, you should definitely try that. We had a lot of fun and can't wait to try again.

This was the highlight of our trip in Montenegro and highly recommended. We left from Kotor at sharp 8 and our guide for the day was Slobodan. He was excellent and was very informative, friendly and catered to any of our requests/ queries. Its a great trip as you get to see alot of Montenegro and then the way to the rafting itself is amazing!
However, the only thing to keep in mind is that the trip might not finish exactly at 7 in the evening and might take an additional hour or two to return (as with us). Thank you Slo and Monte360!

A M A Z I N G!!!! Our tour guide was Nina who was absolutely incredible. She made the (could be long) drive up feel so quick and entertaining with lots of photo stops and toilet breaks. The breakfast was delicious when we got to the camp and served by the local woman there who owns the restaurant. The rafting was an experience to remember! The water was so fresh and clear with absolutely breathtaking views, and the skipper we had was so great and experienced. We got to do cliff jumping, visit a waterfall on the bosnia side of the border, and get pushed down a rapids! After a long day of rafting, the late lunch was incredible. We got an option of fish, meat and veggie. All were very delicious and filling!
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting any of the locations it departs from, as it provides you with a long lasting memory as well as the opportunity to see the beauty of north Montenegro!
Special thanks to Nina again for such a great experience and for making my birthday treat a special one.
