My mother and I found...
My mother and I found Petar through Viator and booked him as a guide for a visit to two monasteries near Sveti Stefan. Our family has ancestral roots in the area, and when we mentioned this to Petar, he was genuinely enthusiastic and immediately engaged in helping us explore that connection more deeply. The first monastery, Praskvica, he brought us to was especially meaningful—it’s where our ancestor’s family grave site is located. We had only seen it in a picture before. Petar spoke with the monks on our behalf, and through his translation we were able to sit down with one of them and learn more about our family’s history. Afterward, the monk offered us some very nice homemade raki. We also visited a second monastery, Rustovo, higher in the mountains, opened around 2006 and dedicated to the Romanov family of Russia. It is known as a place of healing, particularly for women experiencing difficulties with pregnancy. Both monasteries are not accessible by tour buses due to very narrow mountain roads. A small vehicle and local knowledge are essential. Petar clearly has strong relationships with the monks and nuns, which made access to these places possible. Without him, we would have missed not only my family’s gravesite, but also a truly unique cultural experience shared over homemade raki in a monastery setting. In addition, the views from the monasteries and the mountain roads were amazing. If you’re looking for something beyond standard sightseeing—personal, culturally meaningful, and off the beaten path—I highly recommend booking a tour with Petar. He’s also open to customizing the experience, which makes it even more valuable for travelers with specific interests or connections to the region.

Informative and interesting day trip 🇲🇪
My husband and I had an excellent time on the trip. Andro, our guide, was super informative about local history, food and drink, geography, wildlife and managed to answer any question we asked him! We were picked up from our hotel, and saw so much in our day trip. We had a wonderful lunch of a local dish (slow baked lamb) complemented by a very tasty local red wine. Although the weather wasn’t great (we had some rain and cloud) this didn’t dampen our spirits or the experience. The cloud lifted for our views of Kotor and Tivat. Highly recommend this tour operator and day trip.

Great trip with teenage kids
Just brilliant! We booked this with our teenage kids and it was a great activity, especially on a hot day mid-August when many other activities might have been too hot. Lovely guides, good briefing/intro to kayaking and they accommodated our party of 5 really well with 2 double kayaks and a single. We booked the 9.30 trip and though it was an early start from where we were staying in Lake Skadar it was well worth it. We were early enough to park at TQ Plaza and walk to the water sports centre. Location easy to find. We got round to the caves before they got busy and had time to swim and snorkel (kit provided) in the beautiful waters by the caves. One of the highlights of our holiday. Thanks for a great trip
