Overview
The Cordillera Keys Nature Reserve lies about half an hour from Fajardo. Enjoy its golden sands and rich coral reef on this snorkeling tour, with all equipment provided, even clip-on flotation devices, plus guides to help identify the tropical species that you see. Meet your guide at Marina Puerto Chico around 30 minutes before the start of your tour. From here, take a short boat ride until you reach your snorkeling spot for the day. Spot the El Yunque National Forest and the Fajardo Lighthouse along the way. Here, you can start the snorkeling portion of your experience. Grab your fins, a mask and jump into the water with a guide, who can help you identify the marine life you encounter.
After your underwater expedition, indulge in a light lunch, served with a selection of soft drinks and local rum-based drinks. You'll then have a bit of time to take a stroll along the beach, use the onboard waterslide, or simply relax in the sun (or in the water) before getting back on board and returning to your departure point.

- Transportation: San Juan to Fajardo Area Only. The driver will contact you the day prior to the reservation to provide pick up location and time. A minimum of 6 passengers is required, if the minimum is not met additional charges or cancellations may apply.
- Subject to favorable weather conditions - If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
- Drinking age is 21 years old
- Have a good breakfast before enjoying snorkeling experiences
- Bring: swimwear, towel, needed medicine, credit card, gratuity
- Bring: Items for skin protection (sunblock without Oxybenzone ingredient, long sleeve shirt, etc.)
- At your own risk - waterproof cases with electronic devices (waterproof camera, cell phone, etc.)
- What Not to bring: any valuables or items that cannot get wet. Lost items will be very hard to find in the water. Anything you take with you might get wet.
- Minimum numbers apply - There is a possibility of cancellation after Instant Confirmation. This excursion requires a minimum of 15 guests with reservations in order to provide the tour. In the event this minimum is not met, we will call 1-2 days prior to the excursion to go over alternative options (alternative dates or full refund).

- Strictly under no circumstance, children less than 6 years of age are allowed on this tour

This was our first time Snorkeling and it was awesome! We had a great time and definitely would do it again. Ellie and the crew were all fantastic, knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do. We would recommend anyone looking to Snorkel go on this excursion... you won't be disappointed .

Mike and his team were wonderful and accommodating. I suggest having a water proof bag if you want to swim with some items to the beach from the boat. But overall 10/10 experience.

The boat ride was super fun and entertaining. However, the snorkeling wasn’t too great and you only get “unlimited” drinks for about an hour out of your five hour trip. I didn’t like that we were required to hold onto a flotation device the whole time we were snorkeling and that we were with such a massive crowd of people. I’ve been on another snorkeling boat tour before and was much better in my opinion. The views and the beach were still beautiful though.

While the crew members were great, the tour itself was NOT WORTH IT. We were a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children ages 6 & 7) children pay full price which is insane, since they are not consuming any alcohol. I went against my better judgment after reading reviews that said it was not worth it and regret it so much. 1st of the tour is “5 hrs” you will some at least 3 hrs doing check-in, traveling to and from the island, and listening to instructions. During these 3 hrs, no alcohol will be served (they give you 1 soda/water). Once you get to the island you can do the guided snorkel tour which was not nice at all. While I understand it is not in their hands if any sea animals will be around, the actual coral/ area is not nice. I have been on many snorkeling boat trips and this was extremely disappointing, all you can see is grass and a few spots of coral. If you chose to stay back on the beach and not snorkel, you could I’ll not be able to have any alcoholic beverages. They will open up the bar/ food once everyone returns from snorkeling. At that point you will have about 1.5 hrs to drink, eat, go down the slide and swim. Trust me with a group of at least 50-60 people this is not a lot of time. After 1.5 hrs you will be asked to get back in the boat and travel back to main island. Again during this time no drinks will be served. You can’t even stand up from your seat. While I understand this is not a booze cruise (nor did I want that) paying $540 for 1.5 hrs of actual drinks, beach time is ABSOLUTELY not worth it. I have been on many of these type of tours in different countries and in Puerto Rico and for the same price you get more hours at the beach and enjoying the boat. This tour was definitely rushed and not enjoyable at all !

It was an okay experience. I didn’t have as much fun as I expected. A lot of people will tell you it’s great for a solo trip but I didn’t get that impression. When I went the boat consisted of a large group of a family and about 2 friend groups so my group wasn’t as open. The food was okay. The drinks were okay and I wish it felt like more of an experience since I paid $150 but it didn’t if you’re a solo traveler I suggest doing a trip on the boat without the slide. They looked like they had a blast and it was more people in my age group (21-25) on that one. They even swam over to use our slide so if you’re a solo traveler I’d say try a different one.

The caption and crew were awesome. The crew members were very knowledgeable about the island, placed emphasis and on safety, funny and kind. The only downside I found was that you go in two separate boats. It appears everyone books under the impression that you have a slide on your boat however one of the boats does not have a slide. It has a large floating pad. So they give everyone a stamp to get access to the boat with the slide. So you have to share the slide with approximately 60-80 people. The ride there and back was 45-50 mins one way, 1 hour is spent snorkeling and the rest is time on the beach approximately 1:45- 2 hours. They have life jackets on the boats for emergencies only, so you probably need to get your own if you can't swim. Other wise they just give you a floatation belt that goes around your waist only.

Snorkeling was great and fun and the island was beautiful. Everyone was so polite and respectful on the boat. The view and the water were spectacular. We had good food and drinks on the boat as well which was fun!

It’s really an amazing and worthing boat tour. You can just get on the boat and forget everything. The crews and tour guides are really energetic and willing to help. Cannot control my self drowning in the endless Pina colada.

Went with my kids and their friends and had an amazing time. The crew on El Kraken was energetic, fun, warm and welcoming. They knew their craft well and were well informed on everything that was asked of them by everyone on board. They ran things like a well-oiled machine. The food onboard for lunch was delicious.

The experience was really really good. They had everything they promised.
Wish they offered pics or videos but you are allowed to take your own phone or go pro.
I enjoyed it to the Max and they even sang happy birthday to the ones who were celebrating their birthday, like my boyfriend.
The snorkeling, the slide, the food and the alcohol was so good. They even did the chichaito shot omg was delicious. The information about the sea and the geography was really amazing too.
Will love to do it again.
