The Cordillera Keys Nature Reserve lies about half an hour from Fajardo. Meet your guide at Marina Puerto Chico around 30 minutes before the start of your tour. From here, take a short boat ride until you reach your snorkeling spot for the day. Spot the El Yunque National Forest and the Fajardo Lighthouse along the way. Here, you can start the snorkeling portion of your experience. Grab your fins, a mask and jump into the water with a guide, who can help you identify the marine life you encounter.
After your underwater expedition, indulge in a light lunch, served with a selection of soft drinks and local rum-based drinks. You'll then have a bit of time to take a stroll along the beach, use the onboard waterslide, or simply relax in the sun (or in the water) before getting back on board and returning to your departure point.

- Transportation: San Juan to Fajardo Area Only. The driver will contact you the day prior to the reservation to provide pick up location and time. A minimum of 6 passengers is required, if the minimum is not met additional charges or cancellations may apply.
- Subject to favorable weather conditions - If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
- Drinking age is 21 years old
- Have a good breakfast before enjoying snorkeling experiences
- Bring: swimwear, towel, needed medicine, credit card, gratuity
- Bring: Items for skin protection (sunblock without Oxybenzone ingredient, long sleeve shirt, etc.)
- At your own risk - waterproof cases with electronic devices (waterproof camera, cell phone, etc.)
- What Not to bring: any valuables or items that cannot get wet. Lost items will be very hard to find in the water. Anything you take with you might get wet.
- Minimum numbers apply - There is a possibility of cancellation after Instant Confirmation. This excursion requires a minimum of 15 guests with reservations in order to provide the tour. In the event this minimum is not met, we will call 1-2 days prior to the excursion to go over alternative options (alternative dates or full refund).

Took this trip with my husband and two kids (13 and 9), all experienced snorkelers. We took the afternoon Icacos excursion. We stayed in Isla Verde so we rented a car for the day to drive to Fajardo , it was super easy to navigate to the meeting spot (just read the confirmation email, all the details are explained clearly). On previous snorkeling trips on other islands we usually stop at more than one snorkeling spot so we assumed it would be similar, but there was only one snorkel stop before the beach. This was fine, but we might have stayed out snorkeling a little longer if we realized it was a “one and done” thing. The water was beautiful teal and clear and we saw a lot of cool fish and even a manta ray! Next time I’d love to visit the Vieques tour as I heard from other travelers they were able to catch sea turtles there.
Icacos beach was beautiful albeit a bit crowded with other boats/excursion trips. (Spring break week, it is what it is). The water and sand was gorgeous. The slide was an awesome touch and my 9 year old son certainly wore it out (I definitely took a few slides myself!) Lunch was simple but light and tasty , perfect for a day of swimming (pasta salad, bean salad, chicken salad, sweet bread and pbj ). The rum drinks (mojitos and pina coladas) were fresh and delish and they offered non alcoholic versions for my kids which they loved. They also supplied a cooler of sodas, water and and coconut water.
Big thanks to Danty (capt) Mike (first mate) Jarrell and Ellie (apologies if I got anyone’s name wrong!) on the Kraken! The crew was so friendly and fun! We will definitely recommend to anyone we know visiting PR!

We had an amazing time! Super fun, friendly and beautiful atmosphere. I’m actually going on another trip in October with friends and family. The experience was fun! Energy was great and motivating for everyone to make the most of it! The boat ride to the location was lovely and the crew on our boat was great! Andrea, Andrew, and Dylan (sorry if I got any names wrong) were funny and interactive! The snorkeling experience felt crowded, which left much room for improvement and involvement from the crew. I think everyone definitely wanted to see much wildlife so there’s that but aside from that part, everything was fun! The time spent after snorkeling was great! The crew brought out the energy for everyone and got the drinks flowing! Overall would love to do this again, crew was awesome, experience was amazing

This was so much fun!!! A little long but I think the weather had a lot to do with this because it was raining on and off. Other than that the instructors were so friendly, informative and full of fun. I’d definitely do this excursion again.

Boat was nice and the crew was also nice and friendly... but their could be improvements. The food was very nasty and tasted like their was no effort put into the food. A couple of the dishes was not enough for everyone on the boat. For the price you pay at least one dish could of been tasty. i have been on alot of boats In PR before... the food is usually good! Always i do feel like we could of went to a better beach. To do snorkeling you had to walk and swim very far and usually the boat will stop to the deep end of the ocean and let u snorkel. So a far walk and swim made alot of people say no.

We had a great experience on this day trip. The crew were friendly and knowledgeable, and they made sure that everyone was safe and had a good time. The snorkeling site was nice, we saw a lot of fish and coral. My only note is that it was really crowded (there were about 6 boats at the site at the same time) so it was impossible to stay with the group and the confusion made us feel a bit rushed. I don't think that was the fault of the crew, but I would suggest staggering the visits for a better experience with that part of the tour. After snorkeling it was fun to hang out on the boat and my daughter absolutely loved the giant slide.

We traveled to Puerto Rico for the first time this week 04/11-18/2026 and it will not be our last! As avid travelers my Sister and I believe in supporting local businesses and experiencing the culture of the place. We had a wonderful time from the beginning of our excursion till we returned on time back on shore! The crew was fun and engaging very knowledgeable and attentive to their charges. It was AMAZING we had so much fun the crew was SUPER SUPER friendly, FUNNY ATTENTIVE AND LOVING! Would ABSOLUTELY return!!! My FAVORITE part of the crew was watching Mike Best KNOWN AS MOWY, get in the water and snorkel w us, once we finished I watched him get back in the boat and WASH his BEURIFULLLLL long hair with Fresh water from a hoes with Baby Shampoo, the continue to brush his longggggg hair, then proceeded to put on his perfume LMAOOOO I LOVEDDDDDD ABSOLUTELY LOVED the vibes I PROMISE your experience will SURPASS your expectations, DEEEEEEZZZZZZ was amazing and so sweet and Diego you a real on lmaooooo I’m not sure it you can request this same crew but if you can, you MUST!!!!

Had an amazing time on the boat with Chris, Jorgi, Jose & our captain Soli! Did about an hour and a half of snorkeling. Then went on to icacos beach where we swam, slid down the slide, jumped off the boat and tanned. Best music out of all the boats in the area. Piña colada and mojitos were amazing.

I was very nervous to keep this reservation with the rip current warnings; afraid it would NOT be cancelled and that we would be safe, but the conditions would make bad snorkeling and rough waves at the island and would basically be a waste of time and money. Not true at all. They took us to a perfect spot where there were almost no waves, and the snorkeling was clear. We saw tons of fish and even two sea turtles! Itinerary was exactly as described. Cool, gorgeous meet up spot. Guides were professional and made us feel safe but were also fun and kind. My kids loved the slide and jumping from the boat. Would recommend to a group that wants a short snorkeling experience and fun times in gorgeous water.

It was a great experience. I was skeptical about snorkeling signed up mostly for the kids, but once I got the hang of snorkeling I really enjoyed it! Saw sea turtles and my family saw stingrays and lots of fish. Very happy with this trip! If you’re on the fence, book it! You won’t regret it!!!

Very fun experience. Bring some type of waterproof bag. Pretty much everything on the boat gets wet. Crew was amazing. Very friendly, fun, and knowledgeable.
