- Due to the nature of the out tours, we cannot wait for customers who arrive at their tour start point late. If you are late for your tour, our cancellation policy applies. 100% charges are applicable and you will not be entitled to a refund or alternative.
- Please note due to a prominent Bike race in the area on September 5th - the tour will follow a different route than we typically do. This will not affect your attractions or the length of your tour.

Our day trip into the Dales was really good - Ben A. was an excellent, knowledgeable, warm, caring and friendly guide and dealt admirably with a massive thunderstorm on our way back to York, navigating flooded roads and making us all feel safe.
The landscape was beautiful and the historic villages and castles were a joy to visit.
Only one complaint - the minibus was advertised as air conditioned but its system was clearly not up to the task of dealing with the heatwave happening right now...it was extremely uncomfortable on the bus for most of the day because of that.
Other than that, we would highly recommend this tour and a big thank you to Ben for being so great at what must be at times a very challenging job.

Lee was a fantastic guide! This tour offered so many amazing adventures in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
We were able to see many sites from All Creatures Great and Small, including the village where the show is filmed, Helen‘s father‘s house, and the church that is in many of the scenes.
In addition, we saw exceptional scenery, a beautiful waterfall, and ended at the Bolton Castle.
This trip is highly recommended for anyone who wants to see the beauty of this area.

This is a fantastic tour. The places you visit are so lovely and picturesque. We were lucky enough to be in Grassington when the television crew was setting up signs etc. to film another episode of All Creatures Great and Small! Very cool! The coach you ride in is very comfortable. Our tour guide was funny and very informative and made the tour a delight. We had lots of time at each stop to wander and take photos (and have snacks and lunch). The long time we had at Bolton Castle was especially enjoyable. We highly recommend this experience to all humans -- great and small!!

Really fun and Bob was a great guide, telling stories and sharing his love of the Dales. We happened to be in Grassington when they were setting up the shops for filming All Creatures Great and Small. It was an added bonus. Bolton Castle was an unexpected surprise for us and we loved exploring it because it shows intact rooms and ruins which gives an idea of how it was built and the results. Highly recommend Bob and the tour.

Our guide/driver was wonderfully informative and very entertaining! A comfortable coach was provided and our group of travelers was the perfect number for expediency and camaraderie. My wife Ida and I were able to see the most important sites of “All Creatures Great & Small’ plus more places of interest in the Yorkshire Dales area.

Lovely day in the Yorkshire dales. In general, you drive for about 90 minutes than stop for about 1 hour.

We missed the bus. Our uber we rebooked never came and we called but bus wouldn’t wait beyond 5 minutes

Unfortunately, we cannot delay departures by more than 5 minutes as other passengers have arrived on time and are waiting for the tour to begin. We do advise all passengers to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure for check-in to help avoid situations like this.

John did a great job of narrating the history of the Yorkshire area. We enjoyed every stop - Grassington (Darrowby), creamery, waterfalls, and Bolton Castle. I especially enjoyed the birds of prey show. What a beautiful place to visit!!!!

Fantastic excursion. We spent hours looking at - driving by and sometimes stopping and walking around - and photographing the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Ben A was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable about the Yorkshire Dales and about “All Creatures Great and Small.” I have wanted to visit the Yorkshire Dales for many years, since the BBC originally aired “all creatures great and small.” And now I’m so glad to have visited. The area is as beautiful as it looks on television.

Pretty countryside. Interesting stops. This tour involves spending alot of time driving on narrow, windy, hilly roads. If you're prone to motion sickness, dose yourself up well in advance with antinausea drugs.

it was a lovely trip to the Dales of Yorkshire and visits to places that we would have seen in all creatures great and small like the town of grassington where the vets lived and where the pub is, and you can see the actual pub with the name drovers on it. Ben, our driver was very knowledgable and talked to us throughout about the areas in the details and we also visited the Wensleydale creamery.

Our guide Berry, and Steve, the driver were great. The tour was excellent. Beautiful sites. Barry gave us tremendous amount of information. I really enjoyed hearing so much about the area. I would’ve liked to have visited a Bunty barn, to see what was inside. I tried to be better prepared to take pictures, but we had a full day of driving. I would do this again and highly recommend it.

Ben A. provided a stimulating and informative commentary throughout the 8 hour tour. From the dales, through the locations of the iterations of All Creatures Great and Small, a castle, falconry, historic abbeys and geological phenomena, all flavoured by a running history of England, combined to create a memorable and enjoyable day.
Highly recommended.
Ben was a very safe and efficient driver also.

The Yorkshire Dales are absolutely gorgeous, and the trip was well-timed, with opportunities for photos, bites to eat and shopping along the way. The bus was lovely and comfy and all-in-all it was all very well planned, logistically.
The highlight for my daughters and I, however, was our guide John. He was an absolute delight, and so knowledgeable of not only the natural and political history of the area, but he also knew something of the locals, which really brought the whole experience alive for us.
We had the most wonderful day out and are already planning when we can visit York again to do another tour with Mountain Goat.

Fantastic day outside of York! We enjoyed listening to history and current information about the Yorkshire Dales. We booked this tour to see the country side for us the ‘All creatures great and small’ was added information.

Shared continuous information both current and historically. He was very welcoming which made this tour very enjoyable! We would never have seen the things we did or understand what happened in each area, the little pieces of history and landmarks he pointed out was amazing!
I loved seeing the farms and would love to been able to take some more photos of the English cattle and sheep and a visit to the farmers ice cream shop would have been fitting to a perfect day! Would happily do this tour again in Summer!

Fabulous way to see the Dales and learn about the people and history.
Ben A was so knowledgeable and friendly. Comfortable bus. Great itinerary. Lunch at the Wensleydale Creamery allowed lots of different options. Visited a couple of beautiful churches too. Worth noting that in Nov Bolton Castle is closed so unable to go inside. Even in the rain the countryside is stunning and Aysgarth Falls spectacular. Thoroughly recommend the trip.

This tour was the perfect way to explore the Yorkshire Dales. John, our driver and guide, was absolutely amazing. We saw the major All Creatures sites, which was fantastic, but this tour was so much more! Throughout the day, John explained the history of the area and shared so many interesting stories and information. He was wonderful about giving us an overview of our plans for the day and was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Although it was raining during a portion of the day, it did not negatively affect our experience - we were actually able to see so many beautiful waterfalls throughout the area due to the rain that we would have missed if the weather had been perfect. The Dales are truly a beautiful spot in this planet and I highly recommend leaving the driving to this tour group as some of the roads are crazy narrow/can be flooded and it was so relaxing to be able to enjoy the scenery and not worry about having a car. Book this tour! You will be so glad that you did.
