What are people saying about Prosecco Hills

Enjoyable and insightful day out in the Prosecco Hills
We had a lovely private tour of the Prosecco Hills with Nico as our personal guide. It was a wonderful opportunity to see more of the beautiful Veneto region, and learn more about the history and the stories behind Prosecco production. Nico is an exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly guide who is clearly passionate about the region and its culinary and historic heritage. Really good company. During the tour, we stopped off at a couple of wineries where we sampled some amazing proseccos, accompanied by local cheeses and hams. The owners of the two wineries we visited were friendly and welcoming and again, conveyed their knowledge of Proseccos and the terroirs wheee they are produced with passion and enthusiasm. We learned so much! We’ve never tasted such amazing Prosecco and supermarket proseccos will no longer cut it for us! The Cartizze prosecco is truly outstanding and it was a treat to be able to try this creme de la creme of Proseccos. The cartizze vineyards are within a tiny area so only 2,500 bottles per annum are produced. Autumn is a perfect time to tour the vineyards, just after the grape harvest when they start to develop rich autumnal hues of orange, yellow and red. I hope that we can return to “le colline del Prosecco” in the future and explore further this wonderful region. We highly recommend this tour and wouldn’t hesitate to sign up for other tours in the future. Katherine

A super experience
Thank you Chiara for a fantastic day. We loved every second of it! 🤩 We visited 2 different prosecco producers where we got to taste (a lot) of the products complimented with some cheese and ham. And we learned a lot. A really nice stop as well at the monistary and at the mill.

Beautiful excursion outside of Paduva
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gracious. The scenery and Prosecco tasting was fun and there was time to enjoy our lunch and then go to the next vineyard. Very relaxing and enjoyable

  • Many of the vineyards have small terraces on steep slopes that offer great views of the surrounding countryside, so be sure to bring your camera.
  • Some wineries may not be accessible to wheelchairs. If you are visiting as part of a wine tour, check in advance.
  • Choose comfortable shoes and dress for the weather when touring the Prosecco Hills wine country, as you will be spend most of your time outdoors.
