Our tour guide Ardana is very friendly and easy going man, nice and patient, a good photographer too, he speaks very good English, driving safely as well, everything was going smoothly, we chatted a lot, a very happy day tour in Ubud.
Would like to highly recommend this tour to friends, it’s best part of Ubud, really worth going.

East Bali Paradise
Take the earliest tour (4am pick up) to avoid the long queues of people waiting for their turn for photos at the Gates of Heaven. Local photographer makes special mirror effect on the photo. Ethereal!!!
If you have a good day you might have sunrise photos.
Water Palace was also a lot of fun feeding the colorful fishes and having photos taken.
Lunch at the restaurant overlooking the Sleeping Gangga: yummy food and great views. Also fun swimming in the infinity pool.

Gorgeous sunrise views and friendly guides!
This was one of the coolest things we did all trip! I will say that the hike is no joke. Basically straight uphill for about 2 miles to reach the top. Our guide was amazing and so helpful! She took so many pictures for us and let us stop for breaks when needed. The views were stunning at sunrise and totally worth the hefty hike. Would recommend shoes with serious grip (my partner slipped and scrapped her arm) and a sweatshirt/jacket for the top of the mountain as it gets very cold up there. They do let you rent jackets or blankets (which we did) for a small fee. Overall, it was a great experience!

Made Rum and Bulldog ftw!!
Made Rum was our guide, and Bulldog Tut was our ride. We cannot say enough about the both of them. I struggled up the mountain trek but Made helped me every step of the way. When we got to the summit, he made us breakfast and served us tea and coffee. What a good hearted man worth the energy of a dozen young men!!
Bulldog was prompt, helpful and kind. Overall, we had a 10 out of 10 experience with the company because of them.

Great experience!
Big thank you to our driver Wayan for being so kind, attentive, and making the whole day smooth and stress-free from start to finish. The rafting experience itself was absolutely amazing — beautiful scenery, fun rapids, and the perfect mix of adventure and excitement. One of the highlights of our Bali trip and something I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting!

Incredible Evening
What an incredible evening. Learning to cook new dishes, and then sharing them with kindred souls from around the world, is my favorite thing to do when traveling. Putu class was no exception! She greeted us like an old friend and taught us the art of grinding spices into Basa Gede paste, wrapping ground chicken in banana leaves, and carefully balancing sweet, salty, sour, and heat. Chicken Sate, Sweet Fried Tempeh, Ayam Bumbu, Mie Goreng, Sticky Rice Cake… each dish more sinful then the next. If you’re in Bali… this should absolutely be on your “Must-Do-List”!

Fantastic Day Exploring Ubud with an Exceptional Driver
Driver Ary was fantastic—friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. He took us to all the popular sites in Ubud, each of which we thoroughly enjoyed, and we had a delicious lunch along the way. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I would highly recommend this tour

A fantastic and memorable day out in Ubud
We had a wonderful day out to Ubud with Putu as our guide and driver. In 8 hours, we visited a Luwak coffee plantation, the Monkey Forest Temple, and finally lunch at Tegallalang.
Because of the heavy afternoon tropical downpour, TIS Cafe was full and had a long waiting queue. Putu quickly found us a great warung facing the rice terraces and joined us for lunch. It had both jaw-dropping views and great food, and we learned much about him and Balinese life in our lunchtime conversation.
Kudos to Putu for a highly memorable day out to these Ubud highlights. We have great respect and appreciation for the way he drove us safely in the chaotic and busy roads of Bali. As a guide he was knowledgeable and kindly helped take numerous group photos for us. He even gave us a Polaroid photo souvenir from his personal camera to remember the day.
Putu also accommodated an impromptu request for some shopping in the Tegallalang area. We highly recommended him as your guide and driver for a great day out. Terima kasih Putu!

Highlights of Ubud
We booked the all inclusive tour and our driver Mr Ma-De was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and patient and made sure we got all the great pictures! The lunch was pretty good as well in a clean cultural hut overlooking the rice fields. With food, water and all the entrance fees taken care of, you just have to enjoy all that Ubud has to offer! We highly recommend it!!!

A great way to get out of the city and see the island
I was picked up in Canggu and did a tour around Ubud (including multiple waterfalls, monkeys, bats, water temple, rice Paddies, wood and silver working shops). A relatively standard version of what to explore when coming from down in Denpasae I think. I had a great day.
Putu, my guide and driver was excellent - making practical and helpful recommendations based on where I was staying, where we could easily reach and adjusting some destinations based on what interested me more (for example I'm not a big fan of coffee or tea but do like silver things so we switched the plantation out for a silver workshop).
Some practical things to consider (not about this tour specifically and would be relevant for other similar options):
- Multiple options of where to go where available? However, the amount of places you will be able to see will depend on how far away you go. For example, going to Eastern Bali from where I was staying near Canggu would have resulted in a much longer drive time and we may only have been able to see 1 or 2 things. This is a trade off you'll need to prioritise.
- Some of the stops will be keen on you buying things. This was fine for my stops (I was quite keen on the silver ring I bought at that workshop for example and it supported the local community whereas I wouldn't have bought any coffee so skipped coffee plantation) but if youre on a budget, maybe prioritise the workshops/places where you feel more keen on buying something.
A great and reasonably priced way to get out of the city and would recommend.
