Queenstown Wine Tour: Pure Magic in a Glass
Sharp, smooth full-day tour with a fun and knowledgeable guide. Hit four excellent wineries — outstanding Pinot Noirs, crisp whites, generous tastings, and a top-notch paired lunch with stunning vineyard views.
Perfect mix of wine, food, and scenery. Super memorable.
Highly recommended. Book it. 🍷

Came as a solo traveller...
Came as a solo traveller and had a fantastic time! John was a great guide / driver - interesting facts / stories and jokes - he really went above and beyond to make the day. And the vineyards were incredible with gorgeous views, great wine and a delicious lunch.

Comfortable van - interesting commentary from our guide/driver "Canadian" John.
Beautiful wineries - staff at the 4 we visited were great. Lunch at Carrick winery was delicious - and view was sublime. Highly recommend this tour.

Delicious Wine Tour
Our guide Martin was very knowledgeable and a good driver. I learned a lot about the wine regions Gibbston, Bannockburn and Cromwell. We had some great tastings at Mt Rosa, Carrick, Misha's Vineyard and Kinross. The meal served at Carrick was delicious and the site was beautiful.

Sensational!
No better way to see and experience the Central Otago region - the team at BikeItNow were brilliant, the bikes were all set up perfectly and ready to go. Couldn’t ask for a better day. Thanks to Lisa and all the crew.

Was really nice to take...
Was really nice to take the relatively long drive to the wineries. The scenery was so beautiful and our driver was so knowledgeable and was able to give us a lot of history which was fun. We made some new friends and drank some great wine.

Amazing experince
Ted was our tour guide. Very charismatic and knowledgeable about the areas we drove through and the wineries/wine-making as well. Van was very comfortable. Very scenic beautiful drive
As far as the wineries, all of them were fantastic in their descriptions and quality. Admittedly, my favorite was Carrick, but that may be because they fed us a fantastic lunch spread to go with our wines.
All in all, a perfect tour from top to bottomz

We loved our wine tour!! We had so much fun and the wines were great. We did feel that the last stop was a little rushed by the winery but other than that we had a great time! Lunch was great and our tour guide was kind!

When to visit

Central Otago is ideal for adventure seekers, wine lovers, and those seeking a respite from bustling urban centers nearby.
Cromwell and regional capital Alexandra are the two most popular locations for staying overnight in Central Otago, with plenty of accommodations and easy access to other parts of the area.
Cromwell is also home to Highlands Motorsport Park, where children and grown-ups alike can experience incredible speeds in a range of supercars and racing vehicles.
The Otago region can get bitterly cold during winter and even see snow, so if you’re visiting then make sure to pack warm clothes and waterproof jackets.
