YS falls and Black River
Great tour. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. 5 stars. There is still quite a bit if hurricane damage and the tour areas down south have not quite fully recovered. The waterfalls were pretty rough and the water was brown due to recent heavy rain. Still, the Jamaican people are wonderful and we had a great time. We were able to stop for a local lunch which was a huge highlight, and seeing the really large crocodiles in the Black river was amazing. Great family trip.

YS Falls tour
Loved YS falls Black River trip okay but that’s not the fault of the people who run the trip. The did their best despite the destruction due to the hurricane. Lived Peligan Bar. Tour guide was excellent.

Great Daytour with Nicole and Everald.Everytime again.
Nicole and Everald are very good tourguides. They explained a lot about history and nature and everything else that we wanted to know. We had the chance to stop at Peter Tosh Mausoleum which was very nice of them. Had a wonderful day Tour with them. Highly to recommend and anytime again. Thank you both for this unforgetable tour with you.

Incredible experience and best way to see some of Jamaica's South Coast!
Marc was a brilliant guide, giving us lots of information about Jamaica, the culture and the places that we were going to visit. My wife gets travel sickness and Marc was very accommodating, driving slower and still making sure we had time to see all attractions. The YS Falls were stunning, Appleton Estate was one of the best guided tours we have ever done (with amazing rums!) and Black River was great to see the crocodiles in the wild. Overall, it was an amazing day and well worth the cost of the private experience. Full of laughs, incredible experiences and lots of Jamaica! We would recommend to anyone

Black River
  • The Black River is suitable for solo travelers, couples, families with children, and nature lovers of all kinds.

  • Most boats can only travel a few miles upstream due to a low bridge obstructing the way, but some boats are able to pass under the bridge for deeper exploration. Ask your captain before you set off.

  • The river gets its name from its dark peat riverbed; the water is clear and clean and only appears black.

  • Remember sun protection and swimwear.
