The tour itself was great, and the guide was very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about sharing the history and information. However, one thing I did not particularly enjoy was that when I or others in the group asked questions, the guide would often respond by telling us to wait for the answer later in the tour or simply say “wait” without following up. It made the experience feel a bit less engaging, as it seemed like questions were being dismissed rather than welcomed.

I have taken several private tours recently and I can tell this was of too quality. Stefano is a wonderful guide to La Scala, and also the set up in the theatre is exemplary, the museum with its various displays and changing themes, and a chance to look int the big hall to see rehearsals is great, quite unlike in most opera houses.
