Great tour with e-bikes
We did a cycling tour in Hiroshima with Sokoiko, guided by Shin, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We were quite limited on time as we were heading on to Miyajima afterwards, but the electric bikes and Shin’s excellent local knowledge meant we were able to make the absolute most of the time we had.
The pace was relaxed and enjoyable, and Shin gave us a great insight into Hiroshima’s history and modern-day culture in a way that felt personal and engaging rather than rushed or scripted. The e-bikes made getting around effortless, even in the heat, and allowed us to cover much more than we could have on foot.
A really enjoyable experience and a fantastic way to see Hiroshima efficiently if you’re short on time. Highly recommended.

Peaceful Hiroshima & Miyajima UNESCO 1 Day Bus Tour
The “Peaceful Hiroshima & Miyajima UNESCO 1 Day Bus Tour” was one of the most meaningful tours we took in Japan. Rino had an enthusiastic personality and made the tour enjoyable and engaging, even though visiting the remnants of Hiroshima was a very solemn and emotional experience.
We learned so much about the history of Hiroshima and are grateful that the monuments and museum were created to preserve the memories of the people and the devastation caused by the bombing. It was both heartbreaking and educational.
The tour to Miyajima Island by ferry was also wonderful. We enjoyed trying the local food, seeing the deer roaming freely around the island, and visiting the beautiful shrine. Rino explained everything very well and kept the group organized throughout the day.
We truly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Japan.

We had a wonderful day...
We had a wonderful day with Kazuko exploring Hiroshima and Miyajima. She was fun to be with and was very informative about both places. It was touching to learn that her mother was a survivor of the A-bomb - so sad. We would definitely recommend Kazuko to anyone wanting to learn about these places - money well spent.

Miyajima Experience
Excellent tour. Hiroshi Tsuji is a wonderful guide. He walked us through the Miyajima shrine explaining what we saw and what it meant. Thanks to Hiroshi, we got to try the local "fast food", Hiroshima-style Okonomiyaki for lunch. Amazing!
Wonderful day in Miyajima. Thanks, Hiroshi.

Amazing tour, Aimée and Patrick, you're the best!
Probably the best tour that we've had in Japan. Aimée and Patrick are not just amazing guides but also great people that we've enjoyed spending a day with. Biking around Hiroshima really is a great way to get to know the city, we've learned a lot of new stuff, saw a variety of places - honestly, it was unforgettable. Thank you, Aimée and Patrick, for making our trip just so much better. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of booking this adventure, it's so worth it! Also, cheers to the lovely New Zealand guys and girls that we've shared this experience with!

Local cuisine and guide made for a unique experience!
This was truly a food and drinking tour focusing on local spots and local cuisine. Yoko was a wonderful guide and has lived in the area most of her life. She joyfully shared some personal stories and by the end we felt like we had known her a long time. This was special. We got to a Saki tasting at the end too!

This tour is special!
Out guide, Hika, is a second generation survivor of the A Bomb. This tour ended up being a private tour and Hika made sure we saw all of the important landmarks and monuments. He was able to connect the events with his own experiences and family history as well. This tour was a good blend of walking tour of monuments with some unstructured time in the museum. We also went to a rooftop observation deck and learned how to make an origami crane, a symbol of peace. We were able to drop our cranes into a community art exhibit you can see on the outside of the building. The theme was Peace and passing on the important story of Hiroshima to others so it is not repeated. Hika then accompanied us for a delicious lunch where he told us more about his lived experience. Don’t miss this!

Daily Day in Hiroshima
We had a wonderful day with Sebastian. He was very detailed with our itinerary and although we experienced a very wet rainy day, we didn’t miss any of the wonderful sites of Hiroshima. Sebastian was great at working us throughout the crowds and adjusting our schedule to make it work the best for us.

Enjoyable Experience
It's a fairly straightforward experience: you're shown how to notch and fire an arrow using a traditional Japanese bow and then have the opportunity to shoot arrows at a target in a friendly mini-competition. I enjoyed dressing up in the traditional garb and would have loved to spent the entire day just doing that. The instructor primarily communicated through a translation app and demonstrated the proper technique. I strongly recommend this experience if you've never done this before and curious about it.

A customizable tour that was great for 2 older couples seeing the sights.
We are 2 couples in our 70's. We don't walk fast, we don't hear well, we are not adept at figuring out the buses in a strange town in a foreign language. So - a professional guide is a great help. Added to that is that we get to meet a local person and hear more about the area than we ever would traveling on our own. And the price, compared to a big HAL bus tour, is quite competitive.
We went to the garden - which was beautiful - and Kazuko explained the history and significance of the layout (like climbing Mt. Fuji and the survivor tree) - things I might never have known if I were on my own reading the signs. She then walked us to a bus stop with an incomprehensible to me schedule sign, and told us our bus would be there in 10 minutes, and it was.
We went to the Atomic Bomb Dome memorial and she walked us around there. She found a great place for the old folks (us) to rest and get some ice cream. She then led us through the museum, having prepped us about 3 special exhibits she highlighted. The museum had a bigger crush of people than we are used to, it was worse than visiting the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Kazuko guided us through the crush and showed us some key exhibits, and got us out of there in one piece. She was great.
She got us into a cab headed back to the correct dock for our ship. It made for a perfect day for us.
I'm sure younger folks could cover more ground. The tour can be customized to fit the fitness and ambition level of the group you are with.

Miyajima and Itsukushima Jinja Shrine
Yoshiko did a great job showing us around Miyajima, including interesting history and hidden sites, food recommendations and about the shops. We toured the Itsukushima Jinja shrine where she provided interesting facts and showed us the best photo spots. Yoshiko was amiable and provided a great experience.
