Te Mata Peak Tours and Tickets

We had an absolute blast on the Supertrike in Napier! The ride was very comfortable and exhilarating. The view was spectacular and what a unique way to get to the summit of Te Mata Peak. Certainly unlike anything we've ever done before. Hold on to your hat! We highly recommend this tour.

Excellent guide, took us to his home to see his beautiful gardens, drove to top of TeMata Peak for fantastic views with time to look around, and a nice tour of Napier with stops to view sights. At the wine tasting, which was a beautiful, private owned vineyard, our guide provided us with the cheese and crackers. EXCELLENT TOUR & GUIDE. I highly recommend this.

The Scenic Te Mata Peak Supertrike tour was honestly one of my favorite parts of our two-week trip. Riding in the open-air trike made the whole experience feel adventurous and unique. The drive itself is incredible, taking you through beautiful countryside and up toward Te Mata Peak, with amazing scenery the whole way. The ride up to the top was an absolute blast, and the views from the peak were stunning. You get incredible panoramic views over Hawke’s Bay and the surrounding landscape, which made the whole experience really special. Our guide was fantastic too — the perfect balance of being chatty and sharing interesting information while also giving us time to just relax and enjoy the ride and scenery. It never felt rushed and the vibe was really fun and easygoing. A couple quick tips: bring a scarf or face covering you can pull up over your mouth because the wind can get strong during the ride, and definitely wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable experience and easily one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re visiting Napier and want something a little different with incredible views, I highly recommend this tour!

Our Tour of Napier with Ross was outstanding. He showed us the beautiful sites around the city and the stunning views from Te Mata Peak. We ended up the tour with a wine tasting at a local winery- it was lovely. We had a great experience with Ross as our tour guide and we highly recommend this tour of Napier!

Good use of time to get a feel for what it’s like to live in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion and really got a good feel for Napier and its surroundings. We found Ross’s garden lovely with a gorgeous view. The scenery up to Te Mata peak was spectacular! Thanks for a great tour!

Driver plus 4 person motorbike on steroids. What fun. Recommend a neck scarf to pull up over your nose and mouth and sunglasses, of course. Driving safety was paramount, countryside and apex views were great.
