From No Show to KP4—An Unforgettable Aurora Chase
We had a wonderful experience with Fabien and Vitek. As Vitek smoothly drove us toward Finland, Fabien kept us engaged by explaining the sights along the way. He was incredibly attentive—serving us soup, cookies, and beverages, and constantly keeping an eye out for aurora activity.
Although we didn’t see any auroras during the campfire, Fabien remained persistent. On the drive back, he asked us to stop twice, and on the final stop, we were finally rewarded with a beautiful KP4 aurora, with dancing white and pink hues.

It was a bad weather day...
It was a bad weather day for us, which had slight rain, and was very windy and cold. We could not see any wildlife. However, we really enjoyed the breathtaking view of the lakes and seashore from the trip. The wood cabin with strange toilets by the beach was a brand new experience, that we would need to tell our friends. Abdi was a very good guide, he really loved taking pictures. He took a lot of great photos for us. He lead us to nice spots without many people. We had so many photo oppoturnities thanks to him, which was exactly what my wife expected.

Dedicated tour guides
There was a snow storm in Tromso so we headed north to get out of it. The guides let us know that we might have to go as far as Finland to see them, but their goal was not too keep us out too late. We ended up going to Finland as the snow didn’t stop in Norway! It was worth it; the skies opened up for us and the time was of no consequence.

Amazing experience
It was an incredible experience. First of all, I would like to thank our guide Max for all his energy, dedication, and the knowledge he shared. He made sure we had an amazing experience with everything he did. It was a wonderful tour, and I was very satisfied. I hope to have the chance to join again one day.

Amazing experience.
What an amazing experience!!
Firstly, the most important thing with this activity is the dogs. It was stressed to us during the briefing that happy people mean happy dogs, shown how to pet the dogs, how to make sure they were safe etc. When we got to the dog farm, each dog had their own kennel, with space around it and looked well cared for.
The briefing was very comprehensive and Anna made sure everyone was clear on what they needed to do. Thermal suits, gloves etc were all available, and once suited up we headed to the dog farm and met our dog team with strict instructions to cuddle and make sure we were comfortable before we headed out.
The scenery around Tromso Husky was spectacular and we were soon wizzing along.
When we got back to the Husky Farm we spent more time with the dogs before heading back to the base camp, and having hot drinks and soup.
As well as being a great experience to do, this trip was so well organised, and ran by lovely people who obviously care a great deal about the dogs.

Excellent Walking Tour through Tromso
Really enjoyed the experience. Had to ask a few people to see if we were in the correct building. Google maps placed us outside on a different corner.
Our guide Carl, was excellent. We met up and joined people already on the tour as there has been an admin mix up and two groups had started at different places.
Carl was very clearly spoken and very knowledgeable. Walked through the town, visited the library, fish tank in the restaurant and ended up at the Polar Museum. Carl guided us through the history in the museum. As we had joined the tour later, Carl continued with us and took us to the new part of town before heading back. We said goodbye to Carl at a local cafe and then made our way back.
Very friendly and informative guide, would certainly listen to Carl again should we visit Tromso again.

It was amazing to see the...
It was amazing to see the reindeer herd in their natural environment. It was great to be able to feed them and wander through the herd. We loved the short reindeer ride and appreciated the woollen blanket. The favourite bit for me was the free hot chocolate and biscuits which were available for the duration of the visit. We enjoyed learning about the Sami culture too.

Reindeer sledding
Reindeer sledding was so much fun. I chose this adventure through Viator because of the length of the sledding experience. It was much
longer than any I had seen. We had fun first feeding the reindeer and then being pulled through a beautiful snowy pastureland overlooking a fjord. Afterwards we learned about the Sami people and enjoyed a lunch of reindeer stew. There was a small gift shop on the property with unique items to remember this day by. This is a “must do” experience.

Loved every bit, best guide for Aurora viewing.
I can’t say enough good thing about our trip. Marcin our guide is so attentive. We go hot drinks food, food and bonfire to keep us warm. We declined extra clothing but it was prepared for us if we need it. We saw so many auroras and he took beautiful photos of our group. We enjoyed every minutes of our trip. I highly recommend his services. The forest, mountains landscape highlighted by the dancing auroras simmering in the sky and behind the mountains. I felt spiritually connected and my mouth was agasp, in awe at its wonder. The ice crystals covered the branches and trees were beautiful reflecting the dim lights. The skies were covered by multitudes of stars. Words cannot do justice to this nature’s wonder. This place feels so magical.

Whale Watching by boat
A wonderful experience on a lovely boat.
The boat was beautiful, clean, warm and the staff absolutely amazing.
They travel around as much as possible to maximise your chances of seeing whales and educate you on what types you may see.
Highly recommend this tour.

Seeing the whales was...
Seeing the whales was incredible. We got to see orcas and humpback whales. The trip there was long but we got super lucky with a smooth ride. Once we got there the staff were super engaging in giving history on the whales, pointing out where to look. We drove around following the different groups of whales. On the way back they gave soup. Unfortunately it was not gluten free. Then we got to see the northern lights on the water as we came home and they were incredible. Highly recommend but be careful if the water is choppier as it is 6+ hours of travel to get to the whales.

A Very Special Day in Tromoso!
Our guide Roman was a real gem! He was informative on so many levels! We learned so much in a short time about the Northern Lights because he actually chases them! He too is to a few special Fords on our trip as well as the Local beach! We enjoyed so much the healthy sandwiches and amazing homemade oatmeal cookies that were outstanding! He also took professional fotos for anyone who desired! I highly recommend this tour!
