Highlight of my time in Tunisia
Nabil and his wife were so amazing and kind. From the very beginning to the end we had the best experience, learned so much about making Tunisian dishes and had probably the best meal of our whole stay. We went all the way from Tunis and it was well worth the trip. 1000/100 recommend and can’t wait to come back to do this again.

Fantastic, considerate...
Fantastic, considerate and well-informed guide. We included a wide age range in our group - and attention was paid to all our needs. The trip was tailored to our interests and needs. Sousse Medina is different from Tunis' so don't skip it if you have bee to the one in Tunis

Super experience - must do
Heavy schedule with a some time spend traveling but really worthy.
We got picked up in our Hotel in Hammamet by the bus with our fabulous guide NOUR. He was really amazing. Looked after everyone, arranged every stop as efficiently as possible and told us the things we needed to know not boring endless talks. The food we good was plenty and really good. You get to know the real Tunisia. The night at the Sahara was amazing!
The second day was not as good as the first especially because we need to spend a lot of time in the bus.

Really Interesting and Enjoyable Day Out
Good communication from the company — I got a WhatsApp message the day before telling me my guide was called Amir, along with his number, and that he'd be in touch shortly. I sent him a quick message to confirm the pickup time and location, and he replied straight away, very friendly.
Amir arrived on time on the day. We had a saloon car that was new, clean and well maintained. The A/C worked, which was important, as it was the hottest day of our stay — around 48°C (the car's display actually registered 52°C at one point).
We set off for Kairouan, which Amir told us is the fourth most important city in Islam. The journey took around an hour, and Amir spent the time telling us about Tunisia, its people and its heritage. We very much enjoyed the conversation, and his English was excellent.
Before visiting the Mosque in Kairouan, we stopped at a small Makroudh and Knafeh shop that's been run by the same family for over 100 years. It clearly wasn't a tourist trap — the food was excellent and the prices more than reasonable. We then headed to the Mosque to park up.
Amir explained that, because we'd unknowingly booked our trip on the Prophet Mohammed's birthday, the Mosque was closed. He took us to a vantage point to see inside instead, via a rug shop with a small café on top offering refreshments and toilets we could use. We felt compelled to buy a handmade tote bag from the rug shop given their hospitality, though they weren't pushy at all — it gave us a chance to flex our bartering skills.
We then hopped back in the car and drove to El Djem to see the Roman Amphitheatre, a journey of about 90 minutes that took us through some parts of real Tunisia along the way. We could see the amphitheatre on approach — it's such an impressive structure. On arrival, Amir gave us an hour while he waited. At the ticket office, the price of 44 dinar (£11) for two adults and two children was surprisingly reasonable.
The Amphitheatre is incredible to walk around, steeped in history. As it was such a hot day, being exposed to the sun was tough going, so we headed down to the basement, which was refreshingly cool under all that stone. Amir was already waiting when our time was up, and he then took us to get some lunch. The drive back took about an hour, with Amir telling us more about the area along the way.
As a family, we all thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was our first private tour, and not having to wait around with small children in the extreme heat was a real plus. Amir was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. We really couldn't have wished for a better guide.

Excellent experience!
The day was structured very well. Our tour guide Nouri was very friendly, professional and accommodating, and he gave us very good information that made the trip much more engaging. He was on time for every pick up and made our trip extremely enjoyable. He also provided bottled water and sweets from the medina for us! The trip itself was very fun, including lots of beautiful sites and historical sites as well. The lunch spot was delicious, with authentic Tunisian food which was good to try. Overall a really good day out for the family, I would highly recommend to anyone coming to Tunisia!

Good day trip with Othmen
It was a good day, the driver Othmen arrived on time, drove well, and did not rush any of the stops on the itinerary.
I was a solo individual, he also provided good conversation throughout the day and gave good tips about the country/ local area.
Thank you very much

El jem is a gem 💎
My guide Nadhmi was excellent, not only professional and friendly. No question was left unanswered. I was alone and found out so much about Tunisian history let alone El jem. Took amazing photos for me. I was never rushed and he showed me every area. A genuine good man. Thankyou

Wonderful trip, exceptional driver/guide
Trip was exceptional. Sami is an expert in driving to all locations and was always prompt and safe. Super nice person. Ribat of Monastir and El Jem’s Amphitheatre were super amazing to see. The mosaic museum was a surprise- realized how cool it would have been to see the mosaics in the actual House of Africa itself.

Fascinating and very well organised tour.
This was a well organised and fascinating tour which we couldn’t recommend highly enough. Everything from the amazing ruins of the amphitheater at El Jen to the changing landscapes of the Sahara from the rocky desert of Matmatra to the sandy and salt plain deserts were incredible. It is without doubt one of the most enjoyable holiday tours we have ever been on.

Magical
Went with a group of friends, two of us could ride, one couldn't and one had never sat on a horse. We were able to stay together as a group and all have a great time. Riding along the beach was lovely, the horses were out of this world - I would sell my soul to bring Noora home with me. We have wonderful memories and some lovely photos. Would definitely do this again if we ever came back to Tunisia. Top tip - bring Mozzie spray! Horses were in lovely condition, obviously very relaxed and content around their people, and in clean, spacious accommodation.

One Full Day in Tunisia, great tour!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Othmen. From the very start he made us feel completely at ease — more like we were spending the day with family than on a tour. He went out of his way to take us to every location we’d hoped to see and made sure the whole experience was smooth, relaxed, and truly memorable.
We were lucky enough to be the only couple on the tour that day, which meant our visits to the Medina, Carthage, and Sidi Bou Said felt personal and unhurried. Othmen shared insights, looked after every detail, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care really stood out.
If you’re considering a tour, don’t hesitate; Othmen will make your trip unforgettable. Highly, highly recommended!
