What are people saying about Merida

Wonderful tour of two Mayan sites with expert knowledge
We had a great tour with Fernando. We visited Uxmal but also Kabah. Fernando was incredibly informative about both sites but also about the history of the Maya up to the present time. It was a small tour group so it didn’t feel rushed and we had private time in both sites. Fernando’s enthusiasm for Mayan history came through and we learnt so much. We left central Mérida at 7.15am and were home by 3pm.

The best excursion I’ve had in Mérida! Uxmal was stunning and the cenotes were very relaxing. Our guide Alice was awesome and helped make the experience memorable! She was very kind and had lots to share with us about the history of the sites we visited. Thank you!

Merida is a colorful, playful city with deep roots in Maya culture. Some of Mexico’s best food is here, with cochinita pibil, panuchos, and sopa de lima among them. But many visitors also use the city as a jumping-off point for majestic archeological zones such as Chichen Itza and lesser-known Uxmal and Kabah. Merida tours allow you to do everything even in limited time—go on a food walk, visit the ruins, and dip in a cenote.
