So educational!
The tour does require a lot of walking but there are breaks along the way to sit. Bring a snack to get you through the end of the tour. The information is comprehensive and so informative. Anyone interested in history will find that this tour is a great refresher and may also get some bonus information as well.

Go with a guide, its the only way to experience all of it
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I have been on the trail once without a guide and our guide made it a totally different experience. I would highly recommend this tour.

Freedom Trail learning experience
Great historical narrative presented over the complete freedom trail. Mark was very detailed and always happy to answer questions you had involving anything related to Boston

Best tour of the Freedom Trail!
This was an incredibly informative and well-paced tour of the Freedom Trail. It starts at the Old State House and ends at the USS Constitution. My 15-year-old thoroughly enjoyed all the history that was presented. Mark is a terrific guide, and I appreciated the inclusion of women's contributions. I highly recommend this tour!

  • Wear comfy shoes if you want to climb up as the vertical hike means ascending hundreds of steps.
  • The monument's park and square are wheelchair-friendly, but the monument itself is not.
  • Save time exploring Boston's waterfront attractions with a sightseeing cruise.
