THIS is the review to take to heart.
Jorge & Carolina need a raise and an award! My flight to Lima was cancelled and that meant my cooking class with Luchitos was likely to also be cancelled too due to my very late arrival. I was crushed. But ultimately, not only I made it, but I made it to the class because Carolina happily kept my spot open when I was JUST able to make it on time for the ceviche prep. And because I missed the pisco sour prep, they made a special one for me!!! Carolina constantly kept in touch with me via WhatsApp for my ETA, and when I finally made it, she made me feel so welcome!!! Even stowed my suitcase. Carolina, I can't thank you enough!!! This moved me to tears.
And Jorge, he is my hero. He is patient, friendly, and a happy Peruaño. He's in my heart. He reminds me of our Greek spirit.
Luchitos went above and beyond for me. They didn't have to go the extra mile for a nobody like me, they went the extra 10 miles for me. They know that each and every traveler's unique experience is what makes it unforgettable. I would not recommend ANY OTHER cooking class but this one with Luchitos. Salud!

Worth the money!
This tour was SO worth it! Patricia was the perfect tour guide. I arrived in Peru at 4:30 in the morning and my tour was at 9:30, so I was pretty tired, but she was so engaging and fun to spend half the day with. Patricia is so knowledgeable about her city and speaks with so much passion. The tour wasn’t just about food. She incorporated the history of Lima, art, and culture. She tied all the information nicely at each stop on the tour. I feel really lucky that Patricia was my tour guide and I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience high quality gourmet cuisine while learning about Lima and Peru.

Peruvian cooking experience
I had an amazing experience with Chef Rafael. He was charismatic, welcoming, and made the entire class both fun and engaging. I learned how to prepare classic Peruvian dishes like pisco sour, ceviche, causa limeña, and lomo saltado, and he explained each step clearly while sharing cultural insights behind the food. The atmosphere was relaxed and interactive, which made it easy to enjoy the process and ask questions. Everything we made was delicious, and it felt very authentic. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Lima who wants a hands-on introduction to Peruvian cuisine.

Wonderfully surprising experience - worth every penny
The most amazing chef and tour guide. I had soooo much fun that I immediately booked a second tour with them to visit Huaca Pucclana later that same day! We prepared a number of dishes and feasted on an assortment s potatoes, sauces and fruits. Washed it down with a glass of wine that was at an added cost and enjoyed for free their traditional drink made of corn!

Wonderful experience, book it!
So much fun! Best thing I did in Miraflores. The two Peruvian gentlemen explained a little bit of history of the food and let us cut of the food and make our own dishes. It was the first time I had ceviche and a pisco sour beverage. And the other part is meeting meeting others in the group. Two gentleman from Ireland and three from France and us two American women all enjoyed each others companies and shared memorable stories while enjoying a delicious meal. Perfect . Thank you .
