What are people saying about Kentucky

It’s a nice experience...
It’s a nice experience with lots of knowledge about Lexington and the horse industry. Ask questions as it is a very laid back, but knowledgeable experience. Our tour guide Nicholas was very nice and professional-he knows everything about horses. There isn’t much walking, but you do get hands on and close up with beautiful Thoroughbreds. It’s a very nice experience.

Horses love peppermint!
This tour with Shaun was great! His knowledge about horses and the area was amazing! Plus his humor kept us not wanting to miss a word! We went to a private farm (which was beautiful), saw mares, fillies, yearlings, and a cute barn cat! We fed peppermint candy to the horses that they loved! On this tour you can pet and interact with the horses all you want! We went to the Keenland Track also, on our own, and did a walking tour for free. Keenland is beautiful, but if you want interaction take this tour!

the beginning was rough booked the tour and heard nothing till late the night before even after trying to contact them through message and viator to get a pick up time and locations ,,, next time just send a message we are working on it would be more effective .. then our driver canceled however they went above and beyond for us with new driver and even made sure they found us to during the tour to make sure things were ok if they can do anything else the even got us to fit in another distillery also Alejandro was a great driver thank you

What a fantastic time with guide Christina!
Got to walk around Whiskey Row and Museum Row on Main St from 1st to 8th streets learning about Louisville history, people, culture, art, food, bourbon, and so much more. Christina is an engaging storyteller in addition to her fun and comical personality. Only 3 of us on the tour with Christina so it was small and intimate. I appreciate the audio earpiece to hear Christina clearly throughout the tour. We got to ask tons of questions and spent just enough time in each location to learn, eat, and drink. We also took many photos along the journey without being rushed and she uploaded them on a convenient link for us to download later. The 3 hours went by so fast but I felt like we got a great taste of famous Louisville dishes, drinks, and dessert. I was full and satisfied, which my taste buds and belly appreciated the larger portions. Overall, I really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend for visitors and locals. Thanks, Christina!

If your brain wants to automatically add either “derby” or “bourbon” after the word “Kentucky,” that’s understandable—the state is rightly famous for both. As such, there are dozens of Kentucky tours to horse farms so you can see the sleek thoroughbreds up close. You can also traverse the bourbon trail on tours that stop at some of Kentucky’s most famous distilleries. Other options include guided walks through historic Louisville, visits to the National Corvette Museum, or food-focused walks through Lexington.
