Wonderful Horse Farm tour with guide having outstanding knowledge of the industry
Wonderful horse farm experience with friends and an amazing tour leader. Jeff, our tour guide, knew everything as he lived his work life on horse farms in all phases of the business. We enjoyed the horse owner stories, the farm stories, the financial numbers and everything about the industry. We met horses and beautiful vistas of the properties. Great job Jeff. It was a spectacular weather day in the Bluegrass !

It was a nice variety of...
It was a nice variety of distilleries we visited. Our driver was pleasant and kept us on time. The only complaint we have is that per the schedule where we purchased the excursion, there was supposed to be time built in for lunch, that did not happen and we did not have anything to eat all day, we were picked up at 9am and dropped off around 4:30pm. drinking all day without lunch was not great. I think important to build in 20-30 minutes for us to eat something.

Wonderful Horse Farm Tour
Our guide/driver, Richard, did a great job of showing us the sights along our route. He spent a good amount of time explaining the thoroughbred horse industry and gave us a hands on experience at two of the farms. He also spent a good deal of time at the Keeneland track showing us around and giving us a detailed overview of what to expect on a race day. We would highly recommend this tour. If you are going to a race for the first time, we recommend taking this tour first.

Great tour - don’t miss it.
It is a marvelous walking tour of old Louisville. Gabe is a fabulous guide and has so much knowledge and information about the houses and history. I saw a part of Louisville I would not have known existed without the tour and it made me appreciate the city much more. Do not miss it!

If your brain wants to automatically add either “derby” or “bourbon” after the word “Kentucky,” that’s understandable—the state is rightly famous for both. As such, there are dozens of Kentucky tours to horse farms so you can see the sleek thoroughbreds up close. You can also traverse the bourbon trail on tours that stop at some of Kentucky’s most famous distilleries. Other options include guided walks through historic Louisville, visits to the National Corvette Museum, or food-focused walks through Lexington.
