We had a fantastic time on the Game of Thrones walking tour in Girona, and a huge thank you to Dylan, who was an amazing guide throughout the experience! He took us to all the iconic filming locations around the city, sharing lots of fascinating stories, behind-the-scenes details and anecdotes about the filming of Game of Thrones. But the tour was about much more than the series: Dylan also shared interesting stories about Girona, its history and the surrounding region, which made the visit even more enjoyable and gave us a real feel for the city. As a local, he also gave us some great recommendations for authentic Catalan restaurants in Girona and introduced us to several Catalan specialties to try during our stay, a very appreciated bonus! We highly recommend this experience, whether you are a Game of Thrones fan wanting to walk in the footsteps of your favourite characters, or simply looking for a fun and relaxed way to discover Girona with a great local guide. Ona was our tour guide, very friendly and informative. There was only the two of us booked on this tour so we were able to have some good conversations about the history around Girona and some general Catalan and Spanish culture. The tour was a great start to our short stay in the city and helped really get a feel for the history and significance of the City and get our bearings for exploring ourselves the rest of the evening and next day.

This day could not have been more perfect! What a special treat with Andres as our guide for the day! Easy and scenic drive out to first winery where we sat outside and had a most lovely breakfast. Andres walked us through the olive oil and through the store the telling us about all the local food and traditions. The wine was presented and we were able to enjoy with breakfast. It was really cool learning about the co-ops. The second winery was a real treat - the compound and surrounding vineyards were massive. We got to see the whole cool production line. Most wineries I've been to in states are either too small or too big to show this off so that was really cool to see. Great tasting with the staff and was so happy to take a bottle home with us! I only wish I could have shippedore home! Andres was a great guide with lots of local geography knowledge that was fun to learn! Definitely must do in Girona!!
