What are people saying about Belize

Awesome Adventure
Our tour guide Josh was knowledgeable and very kind. We started off walking around the astonishing Maya ruins, then flew amongst the trees on the zip line, and finally ended on the tubing excursion viewing the amazing cave formations. Ending the day with the tubing experience was perfect because the cool water was very refreshing.

The cave tubing tour was...
The cave tubing tour was Naz was a lot of fun! He had so much knowledge about Belize so we learned alot of history on the way to the caves as well. We even had opporunities to explore deeper in the caves (at that point we were tired lol). Naz as a guide provided a fun experience, joked with us, and made us feel welcomed. 10/10 recommend.

Don’t hesitate - book this now!
This excursion is a must do if you are in or around San Ignacio. It is an amazing, unique experience. After arriving at the offices, you are driven to a spot near the cave. Your group then hikes 45 minutes to the entrance to the cave, explore the cave for about 2.5 hours, hike back and enjoy a picnic lunch. The spelunking in the cave is challenging, but worth it. There are times when you are in water, squeezing through tight spaces or sliding. As another reviewer mentioned, you will take off your shoes for a bit of time - wear thick socks for this part - this is to preserve the ground in the archeological site as much as possible. The Mayan artifacts and remains that you see are amazing to witness. Not having your cell phone with you allows for you to truly be present in the experience and soak in all of the history. Don’t hesitate - book this now!

A few tips about this excursion
There’s a couple things to know: - Hour drive to and from park - No flip flops - You have about 30 min hike to the start of the tubing. You can carry your tube or have someone carry it for $5. All that said, it was a very cool experience. The caves we really cool and this group gives you extra time on the river after the cave vs the ship ones that take you out right after the cave. The guides are great and they give you a lot of history and feel for the area during the drive. Recommend the excursion but just go in knowing the above.

With pristine beaches, verdant rainforests, and Mayan ruins, Belize may be small but it sure packs a punch. While most visitors come to relax on picture-postcard islands or go adventuring through the jungle on the mainland, Belize tours make it easy to get the best of both. From swimming with shark rays and island-hopping boat trips to river kayaking adventures, cave tubing, and trekking to remote temples, tours are the best ways to explore—and experience—Central America’s second-smallest country.
