Outstanding activity!

We had a wonderful day! We got lucky with the sun shining. Make sure you are very warm before going out and bring those gloves or mittens! We had a spectacular day - see tons of dolphins, seals and even a whale! I would very highly recommend thos trip. The captain and tour guide were terrific. I would do it again and again!

We appreciated that they were willing to reschedule us to accommodate poor weather conditions. We ended up having great views and no rain! Des, our driver, was very knowledgeable, and humorous! He shared his vast interest in Irish culture and history! Frequent stops for photo opportunities was appreciated. Seeing and feeding the lambs was great fun!! All very memorable!

Great experience!

Our family had a wonderful time on our bike trip. A fantastic way to see Slea Head Drive. The e-bikes were comfortable and our guide was so helpful setting us up. She made sure we had everything we needed before heading off. Though it was a bit windy and rainy when we first left, we also had stunning sunny views of the cliffs. I do think this is best for those who has some light experience with biking. In October, the traffic was fairly light and the cars were easy to share the road with. A few hilly sections but mostly very manageable, especially with the pedal assist. The walker talkie helmets were so useful!

Our Slea Head Drive tour with Mike was absolutely outstanding. Mike was an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guide, growing up right here in Dingle made for a wealth of awesome stories. It was a gorgeous day weather-wise and the views from the drive and the beaches were unreal. Visiting the ancient sites felt very special as well. And, not having to worry about driving on the challenging road made this private tour even more worth it - but really it was Mike who made it worth it!

From the start Rory was very on top of making sure we understood the plan for the day. Colm was an excellent tour guide and did a great job at making sure we saw a lot but also that we had ample time at each location along the way for photos and exploration. He was polite, informative, funny and a great driver on those narrow Dingle roads. 10/10. One of the great experiences in my lifetime and my family and friends’ too.

I had a really great experience on this tour! Everything was very well organised, and the tour started exactly on time, which I really appreciated. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience very interactive and enjoyable. He explained the geography of the area extremely well and shared lots of interesting information along the way, making it easy to understand and keeping everyone engaged. You could really see that he knew the area very well and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with us. I had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this tour. I would happily do it again!

Unforgettable Experience

This excursion from start to finish was great! At arrival, several staff members are available to greet you and prepare you for your trip. The boat ride itself was beautiful. We were lucky enough to sit and watch a family of bottlenose dolphins play around our boat. We saw seals and another group of common dolphins as well. Collin our guide was informative, entertaining and skilled at maneuvering the boat. This was a great experience that we hope to do again some day!

We absolutely LOVED our whole tour experience!! You meet at the Dingle Harbor - right behind the tourist info office, if you arrive early enough the boat might not be there yet - and hop on a very orange boat with 11 of your new best friends + 2 boat staff. You take this very orange boat to the Great Blasket Island area, then take a small dinghy to get onto the island (the transfer is easy and the 2 boat staff members are so helpful! don't worry - I barely noticed), then have a few hours to explore the island (we managed to join a free OPW tour to learn about the island's history for ~1 hr 15 min and then visited the seals - 50-100m away - on the beach for the remainder of our time on the island; no guarantees there will be a free OPW tour happening that day/while you're there but you can certainly ask at the cafe on the island, otherwise the boat staff do give you maps with points of interest on the island so you can DIY it), then get back on the dinghy/then back on the very orange boat and get back to the Dingle Harbor around 6 hours later, ish. When you're on the orange boat, depending on weather and swells, you will get an "eco tour" - the 2 boat staff will point out (and slow down so you can see!) dolphins and puffins. The boat staff really try hard to look out for wildlife and to make sure everyone can see as much as possible. Highly recommend, as soon as it's safe to, stepping outside at the back of the boat and journeying back there! You'll see so much more! We brought our lunch onto the island with us - you pack in & out your garbage, there are clean & functional public toilets on the island near the cafe, and the cafe itself I think just serves drinks. Go chat with the people running the cafe, they apply to live on the island for ~6 mo and have awesome stories to share. Sean & Richard -- we can't thank you enough for the most wonderful day :)
