We have never been “bus...

We have never been “bus tour” people, preferring independent travel, but this was an amazing day seeing Loch Ness, castles, and wild Highland terrain. Along the way, our tour guide Charlie gave the clearest explanation of Scotland’s tumultuous history, all tied to our tour route. He was so gracious, low-key, and accommodating to requests as well, and shared Scottish music along the way. An excellent trip for a great value.

Great tour

It covers all that it says and Richie was a friendly informative tour guide. He’s a good driver also( some narrow roads) I do not recommend the optional Loch Ness boat ride as it added nothing to the tour, we didn’t see any signs of an ‘old castle ruins you can only see from the boat’. A walk around ft Augustus and the banks of the Loch would be more exciting.

From start to finish we had the best day our coach driver with his hilarious dad jokes and amazing knowledge was just brilliant then on the boat with Jamie being our guide he was also brilliant the castle was beautiful and every staff member was so polite and kind our only down side is we never saw Nessie but will defo be back to find her again

This is a great tour...

This is a great tour especially if you are an Outlander series fan Cawdor Castle was very interesting but lots of steps inside castle. Gardens were pretty. Our tour guide, Brandon was extremely Knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. He kept a close eye on our small group of 14. Especially kept an eye on me since I use a cane.

Excellent Choice for Stingray City- relaxed an professional!

We had a great experience with Charles and Brent - they were so kind and helpful and Brent is definitely a stingray whisperer! Our boat only had 12 people on it and there was plenty of space and shade. We stopped to snorkel, see and hold the stingrays and see the starfish. They even stopped midway to see a sea turtle that came up to the boat! It’s always a bit tough to figure it which provider to use for tours like this but Native Way was excellent. I’m was so glad we weren’t on a giant boat with tons of people or on a catamaran without shade. There was a toilet on the boat and they offered water and juice as well.

It rained while we were on the boat but inside was warm and very roomy and the windows were massive. The narrator was very informed of the history of the Loch and everything around it. I would recommend this one hour cruise for anyone with a short vacation span. We only had two days in Inverness.

He didn’t just drive us around—he brought Scotland to life with stories, history, and humor that kept all of us (including the kids) fully entertained the entire day. What really stood out was how safe and comfortable he made us feel. You can tell he’s a true professional who genuinely cares about the experience of his guests. The day flew by, which says everything. Seeing the Highlands, Loch Ness, and iconic spots like Urquhart Castle was unforgettable—but it was the little moments that made it special. Watching our kids skip rocks on Loch Ness is something we’ll never forget. If you’re traveling as a family, especially with kids in that 8–18 range, this is a no-brainer.
