OMG! This tour was a blast! The guides were fun and knowledgeable. Daejon did a great job guiding us. Couldn’t have asked for better weather and the tubing was absolutely worth the “nature walk” (hike). It is about a mile carrying the tube to the start with stone stairs, roots, and had some slippery parts. Definitely bring water shoes with good grip or hiking sandals that can get wet, I.e tevas. The tamales were the cherry on top of the experience and delicious. I would absolutely recommend and do this again! Great job!

We had a great time on our cave tubing tour with Kenton and Peter who, as one of them joked, were our drivers, tour guides, and waiters for this excursion. Our van was full but not uncomfortable, as our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) was joined by another couple and a family of 6 (including parents, grandparents, and young kids). The instructions for finding the guides were spot on and easy to follow. After a decent drive (45 min?) to the cave area, which included some informative and entertaining commentary, we geared up and hit the water. The hike to the launch point included traversing the river while holding onto a rope and our tubes. It was a little challenging because the river was high and fast that day due to rain over the previous days, but we all made it and the guides were attentive and helpful to the children and others who needed assistance. The hike through the forest was not bad, but I had a little trouble keeping up and feel like I missed out on some of the information. Luckily, Peter hung back with me and did his best to point out notable things and answer any questions I had. The cave tubing itself was incredible. Our group was split into 2 between our 2 guides and each group of tubes was tied together. Although some might like a more independent ride, I was happy for this set up as it made me feel safe and kept my group together with the guide, who did a great job steering us and slowing us down as much as he could as we went through the caves. We got to see bats in the caves as well as stalactites, stalagmites, and various natural formations. On the day we went, the part of the river we went through was not crowded, which made for a pleasant and relaxing experience and made me glad that we booked outside of the cruise line. As another reviewer pointed out, I would have liked to have had a better light because the headlamp was really too dim to use in the bigger caves and so we could only see with the guide's brighter flashlight. I also had trouble hearing some of the tour in the caves due to the loudness of the water and my distance from the guide. I certainly don't blame the guide for this, just wanted to point out. After the tubing, we had a delicious lunch of tamales, local hot sauce, and warm bottled water (would have been nice if it were cold) and then had a little time to explore the few shops, including a unique artist who made beautiful pieces out of butterfly wings. The ride back was relaxing and the tour guide even made a special quick stop to pick up some of the hot sauce we tried for our fellow travelers, so they didn't have to pay the high in-port prices. I'd definitely recommend this tour and I would even take it again on my next trip to Belize!

I would not recommend this company if you want to experience cave tubing with your family together.
My family of five was booked with two other groups and initially placed in a van. However, the air conditioning was not working in the back, so the company split the passengers into two vehicles. Unfortunately, this resulted in my family being separated. I expressed my concern to our tour guide, Fred, and specifically told him that two members of my family were in the other vehicle. He assured me that everything would be fine and that we would all be together once we arrived at the destination.
While we were together briefly after arriving, the problem happened again when it was time for the actual cave tubing excursion. Fred informed us that he would only be taking the group that arrived in his vehicle, meaning my family was separated for a second time. When I raised my concerns, neither Fred nor the other guide seemed interested in finding a solution. I was told that each guide could only take a maximum of eight people.
As a customer, staffing limitations should not become my family’s problem. We booked this excursion to enjoy the experience together, yet we spent the actual cave tubing portion separated. During much of the trip, our groups were so far apart that we couldn’t even see each other. As a result, many of our photos and videos do not include our entire family, which was extremely disappointing.
This was supposed to be a memorable family experience, but the lack of organization and concern for keeping families together significantly impacted our enjoyment. There are many other tour companies offering cave tubing excursions, and based on my experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The original van’s A/C wasn’t working so they split us in 2 cars. My son and I were in one and my sister and her kids were in the other. Our original tour guide promised my sister that when we get there we will still be there together. When we got there we all walked with our tubes to the tubing spot but that was when they split us up. One guide took 7 people (my sister and her kids were in this one) and the other took 6 (I was in this one with my son). We weren’t even near each other as the group of 7 took off 5 mins before us. We took our 360 camera with us so we can record our adventure together but we didn’t get to do that. We didn’t get to experience the excursion together which was what we wanted. And other groups I saw had 10
people with one guide so I’m not sure why my sister couldn’t be in my group or vice versa. When we asked if we stick together as a group, they said we have to be grouped with whoever was in the same car. Um, originally we were ALL in the same car. They separated us because THEY gave us the broken A/C car which make us split up. Why did we pay the price for that?

Sorry, the other review that I gave for the cave tubing went on the wrong experience, which was the snorkeling and that one I need to speak to somebody because we canceled it less than 24 hours because the guy again didn’t tell us we were we weren’t gonna be back for our time to get back on the ship so I will be calling you

We had Kenton as a tour guide and he was great very funny and educational . His 10+ years of experience in the caves really shows . He made the walk to the cave quick and the drive was a breeze . Definitely book Kenton for your next cave tour you won’t regret it !

Our cave tubing excursion was an incredible experience from beginning to end. The tour guides were phenomenal. They even waited for our tender to arrive, which we greatly appreciated. Throughout the entire trip, they were energetic, friendly, and constantly sharing useful information, interesting facts, and funny stories. There was never an awkward or boring moment.
The walk through the forest was very educational, with the guides explaining the surrounding plants, wildlife, and natural environment. It was advertised as a hike, but it was really more of a comfortable stroll and should be manageable for most people.
The cave tubing itself was phenomenal, and we felt safe and well taken care of at all times. My only suggestion would be to provide brighter headlamps, since it was difficult to see certain parts of the cave. I will probably bring my own headlamp next time, but this was only a minor issue.
The tamales served afterward were delicious, flavorful, and a great opportunity to try a local dish. The transportation to and from the port was also comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, this was a fun, educational, and well-organized excursion that I would highly recommend.

As a person who loves geology, this was a wonderful excursion, tour guide was amazing!! But definitely bring bug spray for the walk to the cave
Karen_S, July 2026
A truly unique experience! There are very few places in the world where you can cave tube and Belize is considered the premier destination for it. This tour was well organized and Erin, our guide, was very knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed the outing.

Overall was a great experience but one thing I will say it would have been nice to be told upfront that we need bug spray, waterproof shoes we had to purchase those at the site and we already had on the cruise ship. But we would go again

Peter and Jimmy were awesome. We had a great experience. Felt like we were safe and like family. We were traveling with teenagers which had a blast. Best views in the cave.

We had Chester and mantel. Great guides super funny. You will get a lot of history about Belize. Over good experience
Erika_J, July 2026
ATV riding was fun. Cenote wasn’t one of the best that we’ve been to. Disappointed in how little we talked about Mayan ruins. Only saw one small temple. Spent more time talking about tequila than Mayan history (we don’t drink so that was a waste of time)

We had two tour guide. A younger gentleman and an older guy with us. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. The cave was beautiful and the water was refreshing.

Fred and Peter were phenomenal!!! We laughed, felt safe and had the best time. Highly recommend hands down!
Kathryn_D, July 2026
Jimmy and Chester were great guides and accommodating for our family of 9. Bring bug spray and sandals with straps (no flip flops or slides). We even saw a toucan as we were leaving the caves. The trip consists of about an hour taxi ride, one mile hike to caves, 45 minutes tubing (think lazy river style), short hike back, lunch, hour taxi back to port.
RoSheika_J, June 2026
The cave tubing was amazing. Such a beautiful sight. Was a little worried we wouldn't make it back to the ship on time but we did.
Janelle_E, June 2026
Manuel was the best tour guide for this experience and very knowledgeable about the history of Belize.
If doing the cave tubing be prepared to hike in water shoes to the location. I would suggest thick sole water sandals or shoes not regular water shoes. There are a lot of rocks on the hike.

One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in a long time! The tour guides were fantastic, making the whole adventure incredibly fun. My daughter, husband, and I had an absolute blast. We can't wait to do it again! Every moment was exciting, entertaining, and full of adrenaline, truly an exhilarating and unforgettable experience. And something about floating in the river in a jungle in Belize, my words cannot describe the feeling that we had.
Amanda_P, June 2026
Super fun and relaxed tour! Very knowledgeable about the area. Lunch was incredible!! Truly a once in a lifetime experience!
Kristin_W, June 2026
Book it! The caves are such a cool experience! Half the price of options to book with the ship. All the guides were kind, knowledgeable and great with our 4&6 year old. They will also get you back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.

We had an amazing cave tubing and lunch experience in Belize with our family of five—two parents and three teenagers (13, 16, and 18). Everyone loved it!
The drive was a bit long, but Jimmy kept us entertained with interesting facts and information about the city and Belizean culture, which made the time fly by. Jimmy, Chester, and Peter worked together seamlessly and did a fantastic job guiding the groups.
The hike was enjoyable, the cave tubing was absolutely incredible, and the lunch afterward was delicious. The entire experience was well organized, fun, and memorable from start to finish.
Camilo_A, June 2026
Cave was really cool, Peter and Chester were very helpful and Informative. I would definitely recommend.
Matt_G, June 2026
The cave tubing was spectacular and the guides were very helpful in giving us history and making sure we didn’t float into rocks. What was disappointing was we were cave tubing only but they had people that also were doing zip lining show up late so we had to take them and then we were stuck for over an hour waiting for 2 people on a group of 11 to finish zip lining. Finding them was also confusing - you have to go to terminal one and walk outside and look for guys wearing 5 star t shirts and those directions were not on Viator so we are kind of walking around asking random people how to find them. So, highly recommend the cave tubing, hopefully my information makes things easier for someone else booking this tour.

Amazing experience! There is a bit of hiking/walking over lots of river stones so have good pair of water shoes. Great views and history, highlight of our trip so far!
Rochelle_L, May 2026
Awesome tour to book!!
Real water shoes needed for the walk however not water socks! Our guides were amazing most definitely would book again. 10/10

Amazing host, very fun experience. Relaxing, informative, and unique. The caves were spectacular, its hard to believe that it was all natural! 10/10 host and experience, we were very well taken care of, and the Tamales were great too!
Lauren_W, May 2026
We cannot recommend this enough!! We had Jimmy & Peter as our tour guides. The entire experience from driving through Belize, Jimmy sharing the history, agriculture, and facts about the country, the hike in the jungle, the cave tubing, and lunch (fresh tamales made by a local)!! More than worth what you pay. They are very conscientious of the port call time and had us back with plenty of time to still explore the port. If you are considering booking, highly recommend!! They covered everything! The tour was also longer, smaller groups, and more relaxed than some of the larger booking companies we saw around us.
Michele_L, May 2026
Legit, safe excusursions if not booking with cruise, cruise boat is DOUBLE the price anyways for no reason.
We stopped here from Princess Regal and had to use a tender, we made sure we got our tender boarding early the 5 star team was waiting at the tourist pick up, Jimmy was friendly, professional, knowledgeable! I was nervous with Belize driving but he got us there safe and brought us back with more than enough time to catch back the ferry to return to boat with NO interruptions. Be prepared for LOTS of strenuous walking on rocks!!! But BUEATIFUL EXPERIENCE WITH NATURE!!!!! I would use them again if ever back in town! He had best chicken tamales I ever had compared to other cultures!

This experience is absolutely lovely! Out tour guides, Kenton, and Jimmy are so sweet, so knowledgeable and are very friendly and helpful. They provided pickup and drop-off to our hotel. They made the entire experience so fun!
