Had such a good time!
I had such a great time during the tour. Carlos was so knowledgeable and I was so impressed with the information he knew about Salvadoran history and economics. We got recommendations of restaurants and places to go to after. He was patient, kind, and funny! I learned so much, I took notes and shared that information with others. We also had delicious lunch and the walking was not strenuous at all.

Beautiful views!
My family is from El Salvador, but never had taken me to these sites before. I loved the tour! We saw ancient sites, beautiful lake views, and volcanic peaks. I went by myself and truly enjoyed it. You will be driving up a winding mountain so if you get car sick, do yourself a favor and take Dramamine.
I highly recommend this tour to see ancient sites and picturesque areas.

A Beautiful Volcano Hike!
This was a moderate hike, beautiful views and a great adventure to get done in a day! It was a wonderful experience.
I would recommend bringing hiking boots, or something with ankle support, as it does get quite rocky as you approach the summit.
Our guide Gaby was fantastic, had to speak in both Spanish and English which was done wonderfully, and was very accommodating! Would highly recommend.

Solo Trip
Rosa was the best host, she was on time and flexible during the trip. She made sure I was safe and on time to each location and with this being SOLO TRAVEL trip I was so comfortable and happy to have her along on the ride. Great person to have on your team. I enjoyed my trip more due to Rosa

Amazing day with an incredible guide.
My girlfriend and I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour led by Osmaro. I was glad the tour didn’t involve a heavy amount of walking, I would say we got around 10,000 steps throughout the tour. In between the stops Osmaro showed how well versed he is with the country’s past, present and future. He answered all of our questions and the other travelers as well. He should really consider a part time gig as a photographer because he had great ideas for spots to take pictures and was always willing to take a picture for us. Incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and personable. 10/10 I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Antigua Guatemala World Heritage Site: Day Tour from San Salvador
Our tour guide JC picked us up from our hotel in San Salvador to start our tour on time. The tour guide was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and we learned a lot of history. JC took us to a restaurant for lunch called "Finca Colombia", the food was delicious and the services oustanding. When we arrived to Antigua Guatemala World Heritage Site Day we started our tour and we learned a lot of history from there, our tour guide was called Marcos in Antigua, after we finish in Antigua we come back to San Salvador on the same day with JC our tour guide, it was a long tourday but it was worth it. Highly recommend it.

Great experience!
We made a day long custom trip to visit various ruins with a dropoff at a location a few hours from the pickup site. Our driver Cristian was great and the vehicle was very nice. Communication was good prior to the trip and we felt well cared for the entire day! We would definitely use this agency again.

Beautiful, must do all day tour!
An AMAZING full day tour with Josue! He was very informative and the communication from pick up to drop off was great. All admissions were included and details were accurate in the description. Josue was patient with us all in the crazy traffic and took sooooo many pictures and videos of my friends and I. Cafe Albania was fun - and quick lines even when crowded & hot springs were clean and quiet. Beautiful experience and DELICIOUS food!

Excellent Tour!!!
Our recent tour led by Salva was an enriching experience filled with educational insights and a deep dive into El Salvador's vibrant culture and history. Starting our day with a visit to charming small towns, we were immediately captivated by their unique architecture and local vibes. Salva took the time to explain the historical significance of each location, providing context that made every stop more meaningful.
One highlight was our visit to a local farmer’s market. Here, Salva shared fascinating details about the agricultural practices in the region and the importance of supporting local farmers. His passion for the local produce was infectious; we learned about various fruits and vegetables native to El Salvador, which added depth to our culinary experiences later in the day.
Afterward, we made our way to Cafe Albania for a morning filled with activities. The rainbow slide, aerial bicycle, and swing were not only fun but also designed to immerse us in the natural beauty surrounding us. Salva's encouragement and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable, fostering a sense of camaraderie among the group.
Lunch in Ataco was another standout moment. We savored authentic El Salvadoran food, indulging in delicious pupusas and refreshing margaritas. Salva took the time to explain the ingredients and cultural significance of the dishes, enriching our appreciation for the local cuisine.
In the afternoon, we headed to the hot springs, where we relaxed and connected with fellow travelers. Salva facilitated discussions that allowed us to share our experiences and insights from the day, further enhancing our understanding of the culture and history of El Salvador.
The ride back to San Salvador was filled with laughter and reflections on our day. Salva’s storytelling and knowledge created an unforgettable excursion that was both educational and enjoyable. His ability to weave historical context with personal anecdotes made the tour not just informative but also deeply engaging.
This tour was a wonderful blend of fun, relaxation, and learning, all thanks to Salva's exceptional guidance. If you're looking for an immersive experience in El Salvador, I highly recommend joining one of his tours!
The four women on our tour called ourselves, “Salva’s Chicas” 😂😍 We created a WhatsApp group to share photos. Salva captured pictures of us on the slide and swing and shared with the group as well.

Great city and El Boqueron experience!
Wonderful experience. Adonis was my tour guide and Jorge was my driver. They were both very friendly, and made the trip comfortable. Adonis is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. Thank you for showing me your city. I saw a lot, learned a lot, had fun and enjoyed the lunch recommendation. I would recommend this experience

Best Birthday Adventurer!!
We booked the Maya Route Tour for my husband’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect!
Our guide, Alfredo Díaz, was truly exceptional. His passion for El Salvador’s history, culture, and Mayan heritage made every site come alive. Alfredo didn’t just share facts—he told stories, answered every question with patience and depth, and made us feel completely immersed in the journey. His kindness, humor, and attention to detail made the day feel special and personal.
Visiting Joya de Cerén, often called the “Pompeii of the Americas,” was a fascinating highlight. Alfredo explained the significance of the site in a way that was not only educational but genuinely captivating. Each stop along the Maya Route helped us connect with the country’s ancient past, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for El Salvador.
Alfredo also went above and beyond to help us celebrate my husband’s birthday, adding thoughtful touches that made the day unforgettable.
If you're considering this tour ,do it! And if you’re lucky enough to have Alfredo as your guide, you're guaranteed an amazing experience. Highly recommended!

The capital of the small country of El Salvador, San Salvador is a perfect jumping-off point for exploring the country. Scale Santa Ana Peak, the country’s tallest mountain and an active volcano; border-hop into nearby Honduras for the ruins of Copan, some of the world's best-preserved Maya ruins; or follow the Ruta de las Flores, a path that features incredible biodiversity and indigenous culture. San Salvador tours are the way to see the country and region in all its complexity.
