What are people saying about Zakynthos

A great way to see...
A great way to see turtles and explore the caves - our smaller boat could easily head inside the caves as well as stopping for swimming, plus our captain kept a respectful distance from the turtles when larger boats were swarming them. And even though it was October, we got to see several in the harbour which was amazing. If you are planning a transfer, it's worth confirming if there's a cost - as other reviews have said, we were asked to pay when we were taken back but after I queried it, were told we didn't have to.

What a fantastic trip and tour guide!
10/10 Can’t recommend this trip enough! I have done many trips with similar set ups in other countries and none of them can top the experience that Costas provides on his tour. He’s such a genuine person, pleasure to spend time with and makes you feel so welcome and goes above and beyond from the very start! Despite it being the end of the season, he put 100% into making it the very best experience. You don’t feel rushed and he takes so many photos for you to commemorate the day. The drone video and Polaroid was such a personal touch. Highlight of our honeymoon trip to Greece💙 Thank you Costas!

Very nice trip, if...
Very nice trip, if nothing else than to get away from cruise port and see the countryside. We loved the olive oil factory tour and tasting, and bought lots of products in the shop. Lunch was exceptional in a small village. Nice to eat where the locals eat. It was very easy to find the meet up point. George was a great guide. We really enjoyed George. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Very nice sharing stories with him.

Exceptional day out
A full day with a guide (Nikolas) that could t do enough for us, really helpful, flexible with the tour and a pleasure to deal with. The boat trip is an additional 25 each, but well worth it, two hours, visit right up close to the shipwreck, 2 x swimming opportunities for those partaking and cave visits (but not inside caves). Well worth the price!

The Greek island of Zakynthos may not have the name recognition of islands like Mykonos or Santorini. Still, it’s just as much a summer holiday destination thanks to gorgeous beaches and clear blue water. One of the main sights on the island is Navagio Beach, where a cargo ship wreck remains on the sand, making it a very popular stop on Zakynthos tours. Other excursions include visits to sea caves, natural hot springs, and areas known for sea turtles.
