What are people saying about Zagreb

Fantastic day trip from Zagreb
This was a fantastic day trip from Zagreb. Antonio was brilliant. Very knowledgable and customer focused. The trip provided the right balance of escorted and free time. About an hour and a half from Zagreb to Ljubljana and then another hour to Bled. The city and lake are beautiful. Worth spending more time at both but if you’re looking for a day trip this was great.

Rastoke and Plitvice Lskes
Day trip from Ljubljana to Rastoke and Plitvice Lakes. Rastoke was a quick stop. Just enough time to look at the waterfalls and get a cup of coffee. It’s a very small village. Plitvice Lskes Park was beautiful. We had around 5km of walking/hiking but most of it flat or going downhill until the end which brought us back up. There was lunch break midway at the park with a large outdoor picnic area with food vendors. We had a rather large group so at times it was hard staying all together on the hike so lots of stopping and waiting. But Marko was a seasoned guide and very knowledgeable.

Dinko provided lots of...
Dinko provided lots of good information about Croatia and Slovenia during the tour. You have quite a bit of travel time to ask any questions you have. In Ljubljana you get a short walking tour and then about 2 hours to explore as you like. We walked all over and enjoyed a burek and a beer. In Bled, he explained all your options in town and then have 2-1/2 hours to explore. We walked around the lake and then enjoyed the view from a patio and had another local beer. It was nice not having to pay attention to where we were going other than enjoying the scenery. Dinko gave great dinner recommendations for when we arrived back at Zagreb.

Highly Recommended
We took this tour on our second day in Zagreb and wished we’d booked it for our first day. Our knowledgeable guide, Sara, gave us an overview of Zagreb through landmarks and food. It was a gentle walk (Sara cleverly found the downhills !) but we covered a fair bit of ground. The four stops for food (and wine) provided generous proportions and each came with a story giving an insight into Croatia. Highly recommended.
