Amazing experience!
This experience was phenomenal. Stefano, the guide, was wonderful. We briefly learned about the structure and history of gondolas, and then set out to a canal to learn to row. Rowing through the canals gave the peaceful, beautiful experience of riding a gondola through Venice, with the added bonus of a hands on activity. Neither the kids nor the adults will ever forget it.

An absolute highlight of our trip.
Paddling through Venice's canals — including quiet backwaters most visitors never see — was magical, and our local guide brought the city to life with history and stories you won't get from a guidebook. It was a wonderful, active way to experience Venice from the water, and a hit with both the adults and our child. Highly recommend!

Beginner-Friendly Kayaking Adventure Through Venice
We had an amazing time kayaking through the Venice canals! The small group size made it feel personal and relaxed, and our guide gave great direction the entire time. As beginner kayakers, we were a little nervous at first, but it ended up being completely manageable and so much fun. We loved that the tour included just enough Venice history without feeling like a lecture — mostly it was a unique, exciting way to experience the city from the water. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something different to do in Venice!

Kayaking in Venice is a...
Kayaking in Venice is a wonderful experience, highly recommended. This tour took us on a 5km tour of canals thin and wide. As a couple we were able to use a tandem kayak which was our preference. The tour advises that phones aren't to be used, but the guide takes photos and videos of you instead which was great.
Thanks for a great tour, we'd recommend it to everyone!

Intimate, Peaceful, and Unforgettable – A Venice Must-Do With the best guide in town
JUST WOW.
My boyfriend and I had a short trip to Venice, and this experience was hands-down one of the best parts of it seriously, don’t skip this! If you’re looking for something more personal and romantic (and way less touristy than a crowded gondola ride), this is the perfect choice. It was intimate, peaceful, and absolutely unforgettable.
Instead of being packed onto a big boat or following the same old touristy routes, we got to paddle our own path through quiet canals, hidden corners, and breathtaking spots that most people in Venice never even get to see. It felt like we had our own secret adventure tucked away behind the city’s usual noise something special and totally our own.
Our guide? A literal gem. Imagine if Italy itself had a son, that’s him. He was not only ridiculously knowledgeable about the city’s history, architecture, and waterways, but he also had this kind, welcoming energy that made the whole experience feel extra magical. He was patient and encouraging while showing us the ropes of how to navigate the two-person kayak, which made learning it actually really fun (and kind of a cute team exercise for us too!).
One of my favorite parts was how he kept helping us get amazing photos — seriously, the man has a talent for angles and timing. I usually have to beg for good travel pictures, but not this time. He made sure we got all the dreamy shots with those postcard-worthy backdrops, and I was beyond happy with how they turned out.
From gliding under quiet bridges to watching the light dance on the water while hearing stories of the city’s past, every moment felt surreal. We left not only with beautiful memories and cool new skills, but also with a deeper appreciation for Venice and its quieter, more authentic side.
We will absolutely do this again next time we’re in Venice. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you. If you’re even thinking about it… just book it. You won’t regret it.

Lovely break from the city
Kayaking around Burano was so peaceful. Such a change from the busy streets of Venice. Filippo gave great explanations as we paddled around the protected areas.
We did need to cross a few sections where motor boats travel. Filippo ensured we only paddled once there was enough time to cross safely.
I do recommend that you have experience kayaking or have good upper body strength for this almost 2 hour tour. My niece commented that her arms were very tired and she was thankful we ended when we did.
Pay attention to the meeting point location as it is on Burano but TripAdvisor states it is in Venice. The #12 water bus will get you to the correct place.
