Amazing Garden
Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island is truly a breathtaking place and an unforgettable experience. The beautifully landscaped gardens, vibrant flowers, peaceful pathways, and stunning Sunken Garden show an incredible level of care and attention to detail. Every corner has something beautiful to discover, making it a wonderful place to relax, enjoy nature, and take in the scenery. A must visit destination on Vancouver Island.

Great attraction for the family.
Really nice activity to do, nice boardwalk trail to get to the tower, fun (easy) walk up and the netting & slide added a bit of excitement! Lovely place to stop for a coffee, and made even better when you pair it with breakfast at the incredible Villa Eyrie hotel.

The tour was great. Andy...
The tour was great. Andy is an excellent guide and did a wonderful job providing the history of Victoria. The food, at every restaurant that he took us to, was perfect and delicious. I will definitely tell others about his tour. I will definitely visit the restaurants when I come back to Victoria.

Fun day filled with interesting facts and sights
We had a very pleasant day. Ken was our driver/tour guide, and he was very personable. He set our expectations from the start, and we had a wonderful day. Once we got to the ferry and arrived in Victoria, he drove us to the Butchart Gardens. He walked in with us, got our tickets, and took us to see some of the most popular areas. He asked if we wanted a funny or romantic picture, and we selected funny. It was great, and he knew how to pose us for the best pictures. We were then left on our own to explore the gardens.
Afterwards, he took us to the oldest Chinatown located in Victoria and then to downtown Victoria, where we went to the Empress Hotel and had High Tea. During these driving times, he explained the history of the Butchart family and gardens and the history of Victoria.
It was a wonderful, interesting day filled with sights and commentary that we really appreciated hearing and learning.

Professional, with knowledgable crew
This is a very professional, caring organisation who know their stuff and provide plenty of crew! We did the part covered boat tour in the morning which worked for us as it was calmer in the morning and the cover was welcome as it was cold. We saw loads of humpback whales (the boat kept a very good distance but they came up to us to have a look anyway!!), and the captain stopped for a sea otter on the way back, even though we had been out longer already. Professional photos are going to be sent to us later which is a lovely surprise. Fisherman’s wharf is a great place to stop for lunch after your trip.

Nice tour!
Our tour guide, Chris, was great. It was a private tour because my husband has mobility issues and uses a wheelchair. Chris was very knowledgeable about the points of interest in Victoria, and even offered to take pictures of my husband and I in front of some of the sites. Thanks!

A smooth and enjoyable transfer from Victoria to Vancouver
Travellers are advised to be at the pick-up point 30 mins prior to departure which is needed as the checking of bags and loading commences then to enable on time departure. However, there is not sheltered waiting location which was not a problem on the day we travelled but would be if raining or snowing. The bus transfer to Swartz Bay to the ferry terminal was smooth, and we were the first heavy vehicle to board. Arrive on level 2 and passengers travel on levels 5 and 6. It is a pretty crossing past the Gulf Islands to the Tsawwassen terminal. The bus was first off the ferry and passengers going to the Vancouver Airport were transferred to another bus to be dropped off.

Beautiful scenery, sightings of seals, eagles, orcas & humpback whales if lucky. Bonus having naturalists as crew.
You do need to wear warm clothes as it’s windy & cold when travelling to the sightings and nice to have warm drinks.
We were lucky to see a pod of orcas & 2 humpbacks, not every trip is so lucky. Having two naturalists on board sharing their expertise and stories is well worth the trip even if you do t see any whales.

A fantastic experience
Fantastic. Can only recommend this tour. We came relatively close to both humpback whales and minke whales. Wild experience. Very skilled Captain Ryan, who sailed safely through the waves and spoke with professional expertise about the sea and animals.
So also sea lions and a sea otter.
Set off. It is so exciting.
Would like to do it again.

A two hour sampling of Victoria's culinary diversity!
Vasi was our guide. Can't say enough about her! Knowledgeable, gracious, and shear delight. Loved her! Diversity of culinary selections was impressive. Sampling of food crossed regional boundaries, both locally and globally. The tour is well worth it. I give it my highest recommendation.

Impeccable Views
As a surprise and rather spur of the moment purchase, I got tickets during a trip to Victoria BC for my boyfriend's birthday, after we got off the Clipper. Neither of us had been in a smaller plane before and the photos looked really gorgeous online. It was extremely smooth buying the tickets, arriving and being checked in, and getting into the plane itself. Although both of us are slender, I'm a little curvy, the seats were extremely small. The seat belt and the floating device were almost painfully tight to put on, and the seat itself was quite tiny. Of course, we fully anticipated this, but if you're a female presenting person with full hips, know it may be a little uncomfortable. The plane was also prepared with ear plugs, should the noise level get too high.
The views were absolutely impeccable and stunning. Would highly recommend if you have a little spending money to take the time and do the tour! Thank you to the pilot and staff for making an amazing experience for us.

Memorable Food Tour in Victoria
The four of us in our group hit the jackpot when we went on the hidden Victoria food tour with our guide, Erik. As a former chef, Erik was full of insights into all of the places he took us and obviously had close relationships with all of the chef/owners and employees of the establishments. Somehow, we lucked into having a tour with just the four of us, and never were at a loss for words with Erik’s stories, tales of the restaurant business, and vignettes about the history of Victoria. We sampled cuisines from Mexico, India, China, Thailand, sipped carrot sour ale at a brewery while enjoying Nanaimo bars, and finished our tour at Block with delicious bites and cocktails. (Everything was included but the cocktails.) We skipped lunch, took the 3 PM tour, and skipped dinner as we had enough to satisfy us for the rest of the evening. Ask for Erik! He made the experience extra special. Recommend without hesitation.
